This is why teaching your children about crime makes them into criminals. How low of an IQ is required believe something such as this.

So does gay rights movement. I'd rather be treated as no different fron anyone else . . .

It's not gay rights, it's equal rights.

It's not gay marriage, it's marriage equality.

Equal is not that difficult to understand.

I read it all. thanks for the link .
They get a few of their ideas crystal clear.
Homosexuality is disordered a distortion
and is born from sin.
Focus On Family also feels the passage about the Reunion with Christ
(which has always made me feel weird) is very important .

Decalared in this passage is that "Jesus is our Husband ".
and Paraphrasing
' the reunification with Jesus
is like a wedding and we are his bride.'
Obviously and Ironically this includes men.

IMO...

FOCUS on the Family is more about establishing a fascist right wing theocracy than saving souls for Christ . THEY just don't have the guts to admit it! Transparent agendas are easy to spot when your ideology doesn't get in the way of your common sense.

The writers of the pamphlet must be very strong willed to resist all the gayness..I was going to get rude/funny depending on your sense of hehe but I won't..lol

Nothing as long as it's not based on indoctrination of children. I've never heard a "marriage equality " advocate bring it up. You said it's not just gay marriage. So what other kinds of marriage do they advocate for?

That's a strong opinion !!

But I'm confused about the focus on "Family" being involved with heavy politics or religion.

Not all people with "Family Values" hold "Christian" or "Right Wing" or "Fascist" ideals do they?

I think most families worldwide have all the different political and religious feeling built in.

Why are you segregating marriage?

Here is the symbol for Marriage Equality. It's about everyone having the same right. It is not about selectivity.

At this time heterosexuals can not have polygamous marriages either. But, who has the right to tell them they can't?

(Not talking about forced marriages. That is a different subject)

EDIT: sorry, getting off track. Back to pamphlet.

This is totally ridiculous! Would it not be wiser to teach children that everyone has the right to be themselves without judgement. My children are taught to make their own mind up about what/who they like/love. As for sexual orientation, I have taught them the way I was taught, that being in love is special, whether that be with male or female partner. I'm totally disgusted this is still happening since we are ion 2014! To suggest that people choose a sexuality is laughable.

Why the focus on marriage even? It's a grain of sand on a vast beach. I'm not worried about getting arbitrary approval for my love from tax agencies. A married gay couple is no better off than an unmarried one since even the rights conferred by marriage are regularly overturned.

Black people have all the same rights as white people on paper thanks to people like Abe Lincoln and MLK and such but are still marginalized and mistreated.

I just don't see the point in hyper focusing on specific subgroups or issues. This creates further divisions that are exploited to keep everyone down. We should be working towards a utopia not just including more subgroups in our broken system.

Instead of letting more people have a piece of the pie let's create more pies

I will not discuss whether there should be legal marriage with tax breaks or not. That is a completely different discussion.

No one is forced to have a Legal Government Marriage.

Equal is not difficult to understand.

I agree. So why focus on this over more basic freedoms? I just think it's a red herring like abortion. No duh gay people should be able to get married. Abortion shouldnt be illegal. The problem is while these groups fight for the little things TPTB further cement their control over more important issues like health care, food production, and flow of information.

For the record I have higher personal stakes in gay rights and abortion than most people and I still think it's a waste of time.

Equal Rights and Right of Choice is a waste of time?

You don't build without the basic foundation in place first.
