Oh yes, scientific papers that we have changed the jet stream. And you're cute, acting like a scientist won't read scientific papers.

Global warming is happening, we're still exiting an ice age... That's pretty well known and not really debatable. Man just has little to no effect on global climate.

I'm sure in the other comments between mine and your OP, someone mentioned that this is just a matter of correlation, not causation. There still needs to be better science done with the focus of finding the causation.

I am as skeptical as it gets when it comes to AGW, but I still like my science to be thorough before jumping on board.

I am sorry but I must disagree because if you take some time to look through just ATS even you will see.

There is a very vocal minority that insists that we are entering an Ice age and a much larger group that does try to debate GW happening.

Man just has little to no effect on global climate.

Well that is the debateable part. Just how much affect does man have on climate but it is tiring to debate IMO because of the aforementioned groups.

Earth has always been uninhabitable for humans,

Nop these changes may have been natural before the 1800 but not now humanity is polluting heavily everywhere. And we are heading to a mini ice age but its expected and when it ends, global warming will continue. It is logic.

Gotta laugh at the current human matrix because it is so ridiculous you have to wonder how things reached this point and wont stop! If there are immortals currently alive, they must have had their fair share of mirth and facepalms in the last century.

I'm not sure why you think that. Past climates have been optimal for humans. Higher oxygen levels, higher air pressure, warmer temperatures etc. are all more conducive to our human bodies. We're like cockroaches though, and we've survived and adapted.

Very interesting point you have that PTB ignoring Fukushima disaster they cannot control and focusing on Co2 which they imagine they can control, either that or they know they really don't have much control over either, but Fukushima is a real disaster whereas global warming is not.

That is the danger of policies and laws geared to control gases like CO2, been pushed by private interest as usual, that fills the pockets of the corrupted politicians in Washington, once they get away with laws, the door will open to an infinity parade of scams.

You mean like kicking your kid out of the house to punish him and make him comply? So Gaia is mad at her human children and want to kick us all out. Yah that sounds like Progressive thinking. Reminds me of the old commercial..."it's not nice to fool Mother Nature".

Actually you have it just a bit wrong, they want to punish America for being affluent and redistribute our wealth to 3rd world nations.

But I give you 10 points for the idea.

The term Sustainable Development was first introduced to the world in the pages a 1987 report (Our Common Future) produced by the United Nations World Commission on Environmental and Development, authored by Gro Harlem Brundtland, VP of the World Socialist Party. The term was first offered as official UN policy in 1992, in a document called UN Sustainable Development Agenda 21, issued at the UN’s Earth Summit, today referred to simply as Agenda 21. - See more at: americanpolicy.org...

Did you get that? Authored by VP of World Socialist Party

The attack on private property as all good Communists do

“Land…cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth, therefore contributes to social injustice.” From the report from the 1976 UN’s Habitat I Conference. - See more at: americanpolicy.org...

and finally, the need to take affluent Americans and other wealthy societies down a notch and make everyone equal through wealth redistribution and social justice

“Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.” Maurice Strong, Secretary General of the UN’s Earth Summit, 1992. - See more at: americanpolicy.org...

americanpolicy.org...
Only they want all humans to be equally frugal and it is no secret that major depopulation across the globe is part of the agenda

Well that just goes to show you... that entire premise is destroyed in the first sentence. The term "sustainable development" was in extremely common use in the mid-1960's. I know for a fact and from personal experience that sustainable development was a political issue in Arizona, and elections were fought, and lost, and won, over that issue. One of the popular bumper stickers during one state election was "Don't Californicate Arizona".

Furthermore, Ms. Brundtland is not and has never been "VP of the World Socialist Party". She was VP of the Socialist International, a caucus organization for worldwide "Social Democratic" and "Labor" parties.

Ms. Brundtland's personal politics aside, what is the problem with the UN acknowledging and even promoting the "Sustainable Development" concept? Surely the UN should not be promoting "Scorched-Earth Develpment"? Surely you do recognize the need for their to be someplace on the planet for people to actually live healthy lives?

I'm going to take the acclaimed Steven E. Koonin's published article from the WSJ over your opinion every single day of the week. Just because one super computer exists in the world does not mean it is available or the software has been wrote to examine all the potential possibilities or the simple fact that so much of climate science is still not understood. You can know what you don't know, and right now there are to many people acting like they understand something when they have no clue. Once we have even a reasonable grip for understanding how the ocean processes heat, and how it actually effects global temperatures, then they can start with a baseline for how climate change might actually be happening.

I would tend to agree with you other than the concept of punishing America really doesn't make sense. You can't redistribute wealth from just one country without it effecting all the other western countries under a global economy. It makes more sense for the wealthy elite to want to try to maintain the status quo versus risk everything they own.

You don't know that. By stating what you've said as fact you've only perpetuated a myth that no one knows is true. That argument is equally as idiotic as those stating they know Global Warming is man made. No one has any clue, and there are two sides arguing about stuff they can't fully understand.
