The evidence for the US experimenting on it's own people is not only very obvious and there for anybody who cares to look, the United States has openly admitted to doing it on several occasions. 1931 Dr. Cornelius Rhoads, under the auspices of the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Investigations, infects human subjects with cancer cells. 1940 Four hundred prisoners in Chicago are infected with Malaria in order to study the effects of new and experimental drugs to

Sorry I didn't go that far as when ebola was considered to be a possible biological weapon, but that should be a red flag on how it became a disease that can affect now humans.

Sadly during that time Africa was a nation that nobody really cared about, so the population on certain regions becoming infected, dying and keeping the everything hidden was easily accomplished, as usual all unproven conspiracies even when the facts links to the truth.

But times change now we got a pandemic, because is always mistake to be made.

Questions I always had about this event were: why wasn't the disease isolated rather than flying victims out of the area? Victims were flown to Europe and the US right at the beginning of the outbreak, as if to make sure the disease was spread as quickly as possible.

Yet we have not seen 1 case of ebola spread as a result of patients being treated in the US and EU... That might prove to be a slight hole in your hypothesis..
