Progress is to move forward. There is no "winner" or "loser" just forward. Like a ship at see or a bird in the sky if progress is stopped both are doomed. Earth is a ship. The moon is a ship. The sun and every piece of matter in our solar system is a ship. there is no "winner" or "loser" just forward. Everything in our universe is a ship. No "winning" or "losing" just expanding or moving forward. We are a ship. To many people in this world prefer fighting over peace or only thinking of themselves or their immediate family when we are all a ship. Only peace matters.

This mentality is unnatural. Nature thrive on competition: the best qualities, traits, adaptations, and skills survive, while the worst disappear over time. This allows for smarter, stronger, more skilled creatures to come generation after generation. Without competition, which is hard-wired into our biology, ambition, motivation, and all progress is lost. The desire to prove yourself is one of the defining qualities of those who succeed in life, vs. those who settle for less. Take that away, and we're left with a species of slackers who settled for "good enough" but never said "I can do better."

until and unless true peace is accepted globally and religious/tribal conflict is but a bad memory, the human race will remain mired in an endless feedback loop of destructive aggression.

sadly it's not likely. we do war better.

Remember there is always 2 sides to a coin. Thinking that "your" qualities are better than others is what causes wars destruction and death.

Our ancestors' brains developed a fondness for finding patterns in nature. This helped our ancestors identify other living creatures in the wild. This skill eventually adapted to help us identify the emotions of the faces we saw, and thus helped us survive longer than those of our ancestors who didn't develop this skill. There are no two sides to this coin. Objectively, the humans who developed the ability to recognize patterns were better equipped to survive in the wild than those who didn't.

If you are unwilling to kill those what want to annihilate everyone, you have already lost. The decisive mind will crush the vicious dog beneath his boot and give them the mercy of a rapid death. Send their souls blazing off to that inferno that they want to condemn us all to and be done with it. The land of Oz is a beautiful place, but it will always be prone to chaos promoted by a destructive few. Without the power to snuff them out you cannot maintain the beauty of peace.

Once you can understand that we are each reflections of 1 source you can then understand we have no enemies. Only we hurt ourselves there is no right/wrong only forward/progress if your mind can comprehend being part of 1 whole big picture meld into 1 conscious but many parts.

I think we are like a quantum computer. The "classic" information is everything we see and the quantum is who "we" are or conscious.
