If I hear 1 more of these stories: Come on if you put naked pictures of your self online, email attachment, or what ever, They are gonna get hacked. Especially, if your good looking, and or famous. Duh! why this even becomes a news story, did they actually thought they where going to remain private. Really in this day and age. Come on. Internet means public information. Oh I can't believe my naked pictures got hacked. Really?

The famous and filthy rich think they're above hacking. The one chick is trying to sue every single person that re-posts the pictures of her. Good luck with that.

The simple rule for any sort of photo is "IF this gets let out to the public will it cause me problems?"..if so just put the camera down and walk away while putting on some clothes

What gets me is, if any other adults photo was leaked ,the cops, and fbi would laugh at it. Because it's these famous people, they're "contacting the fbi". Give me a break.

Exactly. I guess maybe more folks from the "old days" where you could have an actual photo in hand to pass around thought much more about that than the people using this new tech. I don't know why, but that seems to be the way of it.

It's best to have that frame of mind any time you are out in public as well since you just never know...

It's such simple advice, yet so many seem incapable of understanding it. I have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone that ever has a naked photo leaked. There should have never been one in the first place if you had used your brain.

Im surprised a talented hacker-type hasn't spoofed a bunch of people they don't like and made it seem like they were posting it.

Similar to swatting.

I mean, it would be kinda hilarious if she filed a lawsuit for a bunch of politicians or something...

Take these news reports in stride. They are just another way of revealing a "wardrobe slip" and thus, getting attention.
Publicity whores with everything but respect.

I LOL when Kim Kardashian claimed that she had nude photos "leak online". She's acting like she's some sweet innocent woman. Who these idiots think they're foolin'? This is what entertainment has come to. If you have no talent then just leak some nude photos of yourself and act defiled when someone sees them. I really wish we could go back to the 50's.

What I don't get is why everyone is so interested in nude photos? Who cares?

Like middle schoolers copping a feel for the first time.

Unless Scarlet Johanson or Natalie Portman personally come up to me and ask if I want to see them naked in person, I am not interested. It is just not that interesting to me.

That is all.

Most of these people get photographed with the majority of their goods exposed at every event they have to celebrate themselves.

I will admit there are a few actress' I would like to see some raw data on lol...

I'm going to give my hopefully balanced answer. so here I go...

On one hand I think it's pretty crappy to go tell people that if you put your stuff in the supposedly LOCKED iCloud that you're at fault. I mean really? iCloud is not secure and we know this but what should do? All act like good boys and girls and never celebrate ourselves or do what is our right to do? Those people STOLE the pictures...period...iCloud is supposed to be locked and secure, and someone made a successful attempt to BREAK IN and get them. I don't see how anyone could argue differently. I mean free speech so say what you like -shrug- but what if ((I have no idea why)) I had some nude picture of me ((and trust me ain't nobody got time for that)) in my locked car and someone smashes the window and takes it? Or if I left something valuable in the car and smash-grab it's gone. Ok...I could look at a bit of logic and say perhaps I should have left whatever it was of value in a safe or the house or whatever but really? Does that make the smash-grab guy or the lock picker less of a thief? No...it doesn't...again..the hacker broke into their account, admittedly and took stuff that wasn't his...ie...stealing

Now...with a MASSIVE caveat

I am ridiculously pissed off at the massive hypocrisy these POS celebs are support and pushing. I get it...if I was Jennifer Lawrence or McKayla or whoever, I'd be pissed too and yeah I might make an attempt to at least prosecute the original hacker if he/she could be found. I believe it is their right to do so, foolish though it may be. But why wasn't there this same enormous push to punish every single viewer and purveyor of pornography when Amanda Todd's pics came out? Need I remind you she was a TEENAGER when it happened? Oh they pushed a bit and tried a bit but were like "eh, we'll never contain it." What about the thousands upon thousands of women and yes, underage girls (who admittedly shouldn't be taking those pictures), who get their crap taken and slammed all over the image boards? Where is the massive outcry? Is JLaw crusading as hard for Amanda Todd's hacker? Is Ariana Grande putting up signs about how disappointed she is that Jane Doe just had her nudes published all over the internet? Nope! Because they are self-important, self-entitled pieces of junk. Even if they act beautifully or sing perfectly or perform their sport to perfection, it doesn't make them more special then the other untold amounts of victims who get their personal property and information blasted all over the web

TL;DR - It isn't their fault that they locked their photos up and had it stolen, but I am rightfully pissed that somehow their brand of suffering is apparently worse than the thousands of women and girls before them who now have their own nudes posted all over
