English got no vote. It was anyone living in Scotland at the time of the vote. If England had a vote, it would be over by now. Stop blaming us, please.

Yep Dundee results pushed it that close...

The bigger cities and counties can create huge swings, Glasgow will have an even bigger Yes vote, yet.

I was going to sleep satisfied with NO win , but now maybe i need a coffee.

To be honest I was thinking the same....

It's not over yet. Something tells me the media have spoken to soon. Putting their money on a NO outcome. Haha

I don't understand this no vote. Scotland is stronger alone. Why attach to a sinking ship"?

Because so much of the economy is tied into England:

The banking and financial industry of Edinburgh
The tourism industry
The educational institutions get their funding from European and English run grant boards
The public sector unions merged together into a single union "Unison".
The service industry for property sales and rentals
All those working for the different government quangos
Those coming up from England and working in the Highlands or in the cities
Those coming in from abroad (through UK immigration policies)

30% of the work force is employed in the public sector
30% is employed in the private sector
Remaining 10% is under 16 or retired

All the taxes go down to Westminister and come back up as grants, funds and government offices, so those people are on a leash.

Just a note to the wise. Australia had a referendum many years ago to decide if we should remove the Queen as our head of state. The whole process was rigged.

This will be close to satisfy everyone but I cannot imagine the powers that be allowing a YES vote to succeed.
