It`s not allowed in Europe to raise your right hand (Nazi-style) or to wear Nazi-symbols.

But in Russia you can...

And they have found there way to fight with separatists in Ukraine...

Not to mention they were led by one Pavel Gubarev...

Because it violates the US Constitution as well as Supreme Court rulings over the years -

Mandate

The Special Rapporteur has been requested by Human Rights Council resolution 7/34 to focus on the following issues:

Incidents of contemporary forms of racism and racial discrimination against Africans and people of African descent, Arabs, Asians and people of Asian descent, migrants, refugees, asylum-seekers, persons belonging to minorities and indigenous peoples, as well as other victims included in the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action (DDPA);
Situations where the persistent denial of individuals belonging to different racial and ethnic groups of their recognized human rights, as a result of racial discrimination, constitutes gross and systematic violations of human rights;
The scourges of anti-Semitism, Christianophobia, Islamophobia in various parts of the world, and racist and violent movements based on racism and discriminatory ideas directed at Arab, African, Christian, Jewish, Muslim and other communities;
Laws and policies glorifying all historic injustices and fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance and underpinning the persistent and chronic inequalities faced by racial groups in various societies;
The phenomenon of xenophobia;
Best practices in the elimination of all forms and manifestations of racism, racial dissemination, xenophobia and related intolerance;
Follow-up to the implementation of all relevant paragraphs of the DDPA and the promotion of the establishment of national, regional and international mechanisms to combat racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance;
The role of human rights education in promoting tolerance and the elimination of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance;
Respect for cultural diversity as a means to prevent racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance;
Incitement to all forms of hatred, taking into account article 20, paragraph 2, of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), and instances of racially motivated hate speech, including the dissemination of ideas of racial superiority or that incite racial hatred, taking into account article 4 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, article 19 of the ICCPR and general comment No. 15 of the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, which states that the prohibition of the dissemination of all ideas based upon racial superiority or hatred is compatible with the freedom of opinion and expression;
The sharp increase in the number of political parties and movements, organizations and groups which adopt xenophobic platforms and incite hatred, taking into account the incompatibility of democracy with racism;
The impact of some counter-terrorism measures on the rise of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, including the practice of racial profiling and profiling on the basis of any grounds of discrimination prohibited by international human rights law;
Institutional racism and racial discrimination;
The efficiency of the measures taken by Governments to remedy the situation of victims of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance;
Impunity for acts of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, and maximizing remedies for the victims of these violations.

In addition to Federal issues, it also runs amok of states Rights.

Harper is so lame, how dare he vote with the US on any issue.

The UN should be run by the first level of government, highly educated, evolved and revolving door, citizens. With at least 50% women. And all government and international documents gone through with a fine tooth, some good pro bono constitutional lawyers and common law lawyers to find out what charges need to be brought and to expose every hidden dirty thing there is.

Now, if only the UN were a democratic institution that represented people as opposed to it being a non democratic institution that represents nations and not individuals.

The United States normally objects to any such resolutions that might violate its sovereignty. I think if you dig further in the resolution itself you would find something evil like giving the UN some power to do something. The U.S. has been against Racism of any type for a long time now. Nazis are extremely disliked here.

Except, we have signed the UN Charter which specifically allows binding resolutions by the UN Security Council. Remember, we pronounce them often with the SC such as sanctions or even military action on some country.

Nationalism is good but not if people excuse any and all actions that their country or leaders do, such as Bush signing off on torture (which has recently been exposed in CIA reports as being much worse then water boarding, including almost killing them) and Bush invading a country completely illegally, in violation of international law, and in violation of Iraq's sovereignty.

Iran doesn't technically deny the Holocaust, they question the official numbers, and they wonder why it is used as means to subjugate Israel's enemies.....that happen to be everyone,

Oh really?

Ahmadinejad: Holocaust a myth

"They have fabricated a legend under the name Massacre of the Jews, and they hold it higher than God himself, religion itself and the prophets themselves.

"If somebody in their country questions God, nobody says anything, but if somebody denies the myth of the massacre of Jews, the Zionist loudspeakers and the governments in the pay of Zionism will start to scream."

"Observe that no one in Europe dares to speak about the Holocaust even though it's not clear what the reality is about it, whether it even has a reality, or how it happened," said Iran's ruling cleric, Ali Khamenei

So it's a fabricated legend and it may not have a reality ... but they do not deny it. Seriously, stop making this so easy.

They even think it's a big accomplishment.

Outgoing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said during a farewell ceremony Sunday that publicizing his Holocaust denial was a major achievement of his presidency.

“That was a taboo topic that no one in the West allowed to be heard,” Ahmadinejad said in a speech, according to the Iranian Fars news agency. “We put it forward at the global level. That broke the spine of the Western capitalist regime.”

Is it because your world is so fragile it would shatter at the sound of truth? Motto of ATS is deny ignorance, why do so many forget that and instead embrace it.

Why because he doesn't agree with you?

Sorry, but Ahmadinejad has denied the holocaust for many years...

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran's president said Monday he is proud to stoke international outrage with his latest remarks denying the Holocaust as he heads for the United Nations this week

www.huffingtonpost.com...

It isn't just the numbers he doesn't believe it is the whole holocaust happening that he denies, and you can't spin it any other way.

Because it is just easier to do that than it is to actually deal with the truth.

Maybe its because the Bush family are known Nazis. Grandpa Bush was nearly indicted for aiding Nazi Germany during WWIi.

Tell them about operation paperclip !

Next we will hear that the "international community" were opposed to the new resolution because in the USA's book five countries out of 250 makes a "international community" and nearly always includes those puppets from France and the UK.

We had granddad Bush and then a president and then another one and then the building just fell down on 9-11

This is a MAFIA family and every cent they own should be seize but like our Cops, they are above the law so it will never happen whilst people just talk and protest.

This is indeed quiet shocking to even comprehend. It also raises the possible debate/discussion that America and Canada support Nazism and Genocide that it most often breeds. But who am I to judge? For all we know it may just be part of a game plan they have cooked up....

USA using ambivalent double or even triple speak on those matters.

I tried to decipher this video youtu.be... where J. Psaki commenting about some closed doors J. Kerry gaffe about apartheid. Honestly I failed to understand. One thing is clear - there is NO outright condemnation.

Btw, it seems, rather unfortunately, that US State Department briefings are more popular in Russia even amongst common folks and not in USA.

Update from recent voting on 11/21/2014

Ukraine joins as the third nation to vote against resolution, together with USA and Canada.

In a U.N. vote, on November 21st, only three countries -- the United States, Ukraine, and Canada -- voted against a resolution to condemn racist facsism, or "nazism," and to condemn denial of Germany's World War II Holocaust against primarily Jews.

This measure passed the General Assembly, on a vote of 115 in favor, 3 against, and 55 abstentions (the abstentions were in order not to offend U.S. President Obama, who was opposed to the resolution).

And new inventive excuses from USA

Rather interesting ...

Samantha Power, the U.S. Representative at the U.N., gave as her reason for voting against the resolution, its unacceptability to the Government of Ukraine. "Her delegation was concerned about the overt political motives that had driven the main sponsor of the current resolution.
