Ok, I get the fact he is part of MSNBC's liberal agenda but still he is apart of the media.

Today I saw this on twitter

pbs.twimg.com...

twitter.com...

It's a picture of him yucking it up and hugging Hilary Clinton, his entire TL is full of him showing how he's buddy buddy with all these politicians.

Too me this a complete disregard for journalistic integrity, it would be one thing to do it behind closed doors, but to openly flaunt it? Why should anyone ever take any position he has seriously ever again when they see him hamming it up like this? It just hurts his own credibility when he criticizes republicans or anyone else.

As I said i get he is basically a liberal mouthpiece, but still it's the principal and lack of regard for journalistic ethics that bothers me

The guy knows which side of his sell-out bread is buttered...

He is a traitor to the U.S. ...

His kind of neo-lib sold their soul back before 9/11...

Do any journalists have any integrity anymore?

As members of the 4th estate, their job was to report the truth, not support a political agenda.

Alas, Babylon.

No more.

No partisan media tool does. Integrity doesn't pay well, and is lousy for keeping pills on the table or escorts under the sheets.

He's completely useless. I live where he started his radio show. It was very right-wing. When that didn't pan out due to there being a lot of Republican-play already here in the upper Midwest...he switched to a liberal-leaning show in order to "stand out". Then he got national attention. Imagine that.

Just what I was thinking. Ever since "news" stations decided they had to make as much profit as possible they threw integrity out the window. This includes all the stations CNN, FOX and MSNBC.

I knew that journalistic integrity was totally gone when I first heard about Barbara Walters and others going to Bilderberg meetings some years ago. I knew they were 'in' on it and you would never get the truth out of them.

This isn't related to his connections to Hilary, but one day I was watching his show and I noticed his twitter ticker had a lot of generic names like "mainstreetsoccermom" that sounded like political buzz phrases, and it set off my bull# sensors enough that i decided to check those accounts, and I noticed that almost all of them only send in comments to his show or other MSNBC shows. They all repeat popular democrat talking points that we're circulating at that time. It seemed like a pretty obvious attempt at manipulating viewers with the "views of real Americans".

Ed Schultz is one of my least favorite media personalities, so I never watched again to see if that stayed consistent, but if anyone is willing to sit through some of these horrible shows on MSNBC and FOX it could be interesting to track. It's not really related, I'm just throwing it out there cause he annoys me.

It's all gone, and the sad part is this is who is teaching the next generations journalists. It'll just keep getting worse over the coming years. I fond that most people don't really read or watch the news anymore or they have to watch 8 to 10 different streams of news to try and get anywhere near a neutral story.

It's not just the money, another reason they report like they do now is cause it's faster and easier. It's just a bunch of copy and paste bull. Very little time is spent now finding out what happened be for moving on to the next item to cover.

Glenn Greenwald. He started an agency called The Intercept. Glenn Greenwald is an awesome jouranalist. All of these people rule at life.

Jebb Boone rocks.

VICE News Team rocks harder.

Citizen Jouranalism rocks hardest.

^^^ The mainstream media is all but completely owned by the government. CNN, Fox, BBC, msnbc, and their affiliates are bought and paid for. I choose to ignore them pretty much always. If i do come across a story one of those agencies breaks, i back check with independant news or watchdog groups.

You mean they stack the deck for their own agenda?? I'm shocked. Not really, but it would be interesting to collect all that Info and ip trace them back to MSNBC.

Sadly I think all media types do the same.

Why the surprise Ed Shultz has no journalistic integrity? Neither does Maddow, Cooper, Blitzer, Hannity, etc.

I'm with you on that one! ALL the so called news channels are simply entertainnews. I wonder if the OP thinks the FOX News team reeks of integrity... LOL!

No surprise. He's with MSNBC. Hillary is the left wing powerhouse.
If he were with FOX he'd probably be hugg'n on Col West.
If he were with CNN it probably would be that flake Elizabeth Warren.

'Uncle Walt' wasn't silent and he wasn't the cornerstone of journalistic integrity Walter Cronkite and the Roots of Media Bias . Anyone who thinks that journalistic integrity going missing is a new thing with MSNBC or FOX ... think again. This has been going on for decades and decades.

I often wonder how many other people notice that elites never get interviewed by anyone real. Only by puppets of their choosing. That's why when the people start asking questions at wild town hall meetings is so funny to me, because then, the politicians are asked the questions that many of us would like to ask them, but they blow it off and answer the questions asked by puppets. It's sort of like a basketball player setting his teammate up for a slam dunk. Ya know?

I despise this man, but admire his overt, honest bias, at least he doesn't try to hide behind a cloak of "fair and balanced" journalism.
