I've been thinking about that. Probably true. Although some of the comedians and others probably do spread awareness to a certain degree. Being a court jester probably entails some truth telling. But yeah, there's the whole phenomenon "prophet killers". And some of the conspiracy stuff is really mainstream so you've always got to be in the "lunatic fringe" to be a real truther, can't be the popular guy. The alternative is never mainstream. Maybe that's why I always felt that being popular is to be perverted, I was always a paranoid neurotic loner.

Thought about this when I listened to the guys in Joycamp. That made me think about how Hitler never tolerated political jokes and dirty jokes.

By "same strata of consciousness" I just meant that they appear to be somewhat similar, nothing about whether that's a high or low level.
