Oh this sounds interesting!
The UCAV leader IMO probably will be the pilot flying the plane and the second one controlling a squadron of UCAV's flying with the typhoon.

I would assume defense is my only motive.

One thing for certain, I would buy at least 400-500 upgraded F16's. Still to this day one of the most capable planes in the air. Unrivaled as a dog fighter and an excelent air to ground bomber. Great defensive plane.

Now, I would also need to assume that an attacking power would use long range type aircraft against me. So I would need a compliment of "air superiority" type fighters with long range missiles. Not 100's of them, but maybe a 100 or so. The issue here is getting a seller to pony some up. I would look into Mig 29's if the US wouldnt sell me any F22's. Maybe some upgraded F15e's.

As good as the F16 is as a bomber, I would want some close air support as well. A 100 or so A10's would do the trick nicely. Again, I am assuming I need to deffend myself against an invading force. Nothing like a few straffing runs with that gat to send a message to two. Throw a couple F15e's above them for support and you have quite a set up.

Maybe a dozen AC-130 gunships for a little extra "kick"

Lastly support aircraft. AWACS, refuelers, Jammers (modoified intruders or such), and lifters.

I think an arrangement like this would deffend a middle sized country very well. At the very least you could deffend yourself very handedly against all but the superpowers.
