Humans evolving has nothing to do with whether or not there is a Creator, therefore it is not a desolation of Faith.

The Flesh belongs to The Flesh and The Spirit belongs to The Spirit (John 3:6), so it doesn't matter if physical human creatures evolved, and yes, humans are creatures (= of creation, because physical humans have not always existed).
