I do find it funny that they are trying to call it ISIL now that so many have said something about ISIS being the same name as the fictional spy group that Sterling Archer's mom runs.

I'm a lover of the light. I am not Christian in any sense of the word. The only Christian group that remotely resembles anything I might believe are the Quakers, and even they are not something I favor. Other than the ultra progressive social justice Christians, I view Christianity as objectively problematic.

There are plenty of Christian anarchists. Go to your nearest monastery, I'm sure you'll find at least one socialist in the bunch. There are youth ministers in almost every major city in America that network with organizations like the Thomas Merton Center for Peace to coordinate disparate affinity groups to engage in more effective social activism. I have no problems with these people, but they are the extreme minority.

It isn't "Islam" that needs "taming". True Muslims don't believe in what the fabricated "radicals" claim. Real Radicals (in the west) claim Muslims are all extreme as a justification to attack all those places they inhabit. And theres lots of places.

Why must Assad go? He was schooled in the west. He married a westerner. He runs a secular nation. These are the reasons ISIS is fighting him. You want another unstable region? If Assad quells the issues in Syria, that's one less place to worry about.
