First name basis, so wrong

does it bother you when you are watching a press conference with the members of the Bush administration (also took place with Clinton administration) and the journalists are called on by first name, it lets me know that these journalists are probably attending parties and seeing these people their supposed to be doing objective reporting on; on a social scale. And if your on a first name basis with these people then I don't think we are going to be getting objective reporting. it really bothers me to see this, I know it is a little thing but it alerts me to the facts that friendship or at least a passing acquaintance is going on and I don't like that the press who are responsible for telling the world what is going on is doing the party circuit with the very people who make decisions that affect me. Yes I want the journalists to know them and have access to them but not party with them.
