This sort of technology will displace some jobs but also create jobs. The printer will probably need 1 or 2 tech/maintenence persons per printer plus people who get raw materials to it plus there would be quality inspectors for the panels. If you dont adapt you get left behind dont be scared to learn something new.

Industrial Hemp is the way to go the hurds of hemp. Put Ellora Caves in India in search engine. A few years ago it was discovered 10% hemp in the soil based mixture allowed longevity of stunning temples 1,500 years so far.

Grow hemp in 4 mos 3 acres enough for a 2,000 sf house. See USHBA.org and HempBuilding.com A professional USHBA team spent 400 volunteer hours and now IRC has approved hempcrete for building in the USA last month. Hempcrete, blocks, bricks, adobe a rave new world for building high rises, tiny homes, commercial building, everything in between. Hurds the trash part of hemp stalks after high grade bast fiber used for high grade purposes.

Why discard a building material that can return to the earth later and is fire, termite, rodent proof, cooler in summer warmer in winter. These houses often are works of art and the acoustics are superior. a reply to: lostbook
