But it is really nothing new. "Terror alerts", suspicious packages etc have been a fact of life in the UK since the 1970s thanks to the IRA etc. I understand it might seem like a new thing to people in other countries, but we just shrug and get on with it and have done since before I was born.

It's no big deal.
