Seems to me that Sovereign Citizens would be any LEO's wet dream. People who do not acknowledge any form of law or authority? Ought to provide pretty unambiguous conditions to justifiably beat and shoot folks. Isn't that the fun part of their job?

And the same liberals that are voting for more gov don't want the police being used in the way your picture shows!
They don't want it used against people assembling expressing their rights, you know power to the people and all that.

And is that the context of that picture, that they are breaking a curfew law? Or is that just some made up scenario you thought up real quick.
Oh and nice tie into ferguson there. And what was the rights reaction to how the cops were used there? Just right or excessive?
Again, power to the people and what not

Islamic extremest 2nd and militia/patriot groups 3rd

Dear god! Quick, take away my rights so I can feel safe! Ter'ists' everywhere!

If the people are the militia, and the militia are terrorists... Does that mean all Americans are considered terrorists?

Hmm..

It's kind of hard to take a concerns of national security by the Government serious when the southern border is wide open. I think that says allot about their motives.

The MSNBC report fails to mention any cartel violence and mass murder in the big cities.

That report must be scheduled for mid-November?

So Americans are more of a threat than Al Qaeda or ISIS?

To be clear, sovereign citizens are viewed as a greater threat to Americans than Islamic terrorists. Until 9/11 the deadliest terrorist attack on US soil was the Oklahoma City bombing.

Honestly, I'm more afraid of some right-wing nut with a gun than I am of some Muslim attacking me.

They tie up the court system with stacks of frivolous, nonsensical paperwork. People that actually need their day in court have to wait whilst the justice system sorts through all the garbage these people throw at them.

Usually they're desperate people, being sold a scam "get out of taxes/jail" scheme. If whatever they are trying actually worked, the richest people and corporations in the USA would be using their secret tricks to get out of paying taxes.

A lot of them owe the IRS a lot of money, have back child support, or are locked in jail. If they don't want to pay taxes -- fine, move to another country. Roads don't pave themselves for free, and firefighters and EMT's don't work for free either.

uhm.....so how does it come to be that a group of people that just don't want to pay taxes, or owe a lot of taxes and tie up the court system are now labeled as "terrorists"???

From the OP's article:

The Sovereign Citizen movement was the most highly ranked threat, with 86 percent of respondents agreeing or strongly agreeing that it was a serious terrorist threat.

Er.....so does this group strike fear in our hearts?

I'm REALLY confused.

The reason cops are afraid of SCs is because both parties 'plan' to go home at the end of the day. One side is willing to die for that right.

I laughed and laughed at what happened out at the Bundy ranch. Too bad there aren't enough patriots willing to stand against tyranny. Too bad there are a limitless supply of 'contractors' willing to take tax dollars to do the governments dirty work for them.

One thing proggies need to fear: That's the guy who loses a family member and turns guerrilla. People high up in government know what kind of problem this is. When that happens, people like Ed are going to take their piles of dollars and move to another safe haven.

My first thought as well. Religious fanatics on the other side of the globe and Americans who think they are free - big problem. Drug cartels that engage in murder, human trafficking, slavery, prostitution, etc., - not so much.

When I was growing up in the 60's, 70's and into the 80's, a "terrorist" or "terrorist" group, were those individuals or group of individuals who would commit violence in a unsuspecting manner, causing great damage and large loss of life or innocent people. It was still that way all the way up to 9/11 from what I remember.

Now, If you don't want to pay taxes, you're a terrorist. If you use cash, you're a terrorist. If you stock up on food, you might be a terrorist. If you call yourself a patriot (because you love your country), you might be a terrorist, and also, (which really pisses me off, being a veteran myself): if you're ex-military, you might be a terrorist.

WTH is wrong with this picture?

You know the left wings nuts have guns too right? You've seen them on the news several times before.

"Sovereign citizens" as far as I'm concerned, are bat #e crazy people. I have to seriously doubt that group will be gaining any popularity.

I remember the crack down on militia groups in the 90's Whats interesting is that some of these groups the feds targeted I learned about from a special news series on KSDK in St Louis about local militia groups, several months after there reports the raids began across the state and nation.

I don't think any type of governmental crack down on these groups today would be well received.

Makes me think of doomsday preppers

Elections in a few weeks folks.

Make the RIGHT choice. Don't vote our freedom away.

The freedoms we lost under Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, or Obama?

You can bring up examples from any president, but when people think of "big government", they know it is a synonym for "liberal".

You got one part right. Fox and MSNBC are two sides of the same coin pedaling fear porn. They're owned by the same cabal that brought us the NSA.

God forbid human beings finaneeh wake up to the fact that we are all indeed divinely sovereign with God given natural rights and free will.

Reality is a function of our individual and collective consciousness. The cabal is pulling out all the stops to try and convince us to remain sleeping slaves.

Intuitively people understand what's being spewed out by douche bags in the MSM, is not Truth.

In addition to our God given rights, we have a moral compass and intuition that we've been enslaved, that crimes against humanity have been perpetrated for centuries.

Its no wonder that all MSM numbers are in the toilet. Cable numbers are smaller than many blogs. The Washington Post doesn't even qualify as a fish wrapper. Its so thin, it's actually cheaper to buy unprinted paper than to wrap smelly fish in that joke of a paper.

Hey Ed, get a life you douche. Back in my fraternity days when pay phones still existed we used to give out the "Dime Award" where the offensive whiner was given ten cents, pointed to the pay phone and told "Call somebody who gives a ship" whiney bastard. Loser.
