What concerns me most is that apparently even when contacts are isolated they are escaping. It is truly out of control. What is stopping a terrorist from contracting the disease and purposely flying into a country intending to infect the populous?

fever can be a sign of a lot of different illnesses, not just Ebola. And thermal scanning proved to be a poor method of catching bird flu carriers in 2009 as well. So presenting with an elevated temperature at an airport checkpoint does not indicate clearly enough that the fevered person is carrying the deadly virus. More importantly, the incubation period for Ebola is two days. As many as 20 days can pass before symptoms show up.

Best way would be to travel through the busiest transportation hubs in the world; airports. Simply spending a day drinking lots of water and walking through all the stores fingering everything would be enough.

Then it just spreads and spreads. I'd hate to imagine what would happen if it hit the high-rise ghettoes. There would be a massive panic as everyone tries to flee those city blocks while the army puts up quarantine fences with biohazard signs and concrete bollards. No-one is going to want to be rounded up into a bus filled with the "unclean", so they would probably hide in their apartments or basements and only come out at night. They'd probably try and escape through the sewers, and introduce even more diseases.

I could see the headline now

"Crazed suicidal terrorist runs around city kissing unsuspecting people and spitting in their drinks."

Anyone that could draw blood could take a pint or two put it on ice and give a small amount to 20 to 30 people just before they get on a plane.

A week or two down the line they could be spread around the world when they became infectious to everyone else.

Ebola is just as infectious as HIV so just a needle stick could spread it.

Possible rfid health monitoring chips would be able to track the infected. So any traveling or interacting in areas of mass gathering would be chipped and the health constantly monitored.

If a terrorist org attempted to use human weapons it would possibly backfire on that org tremendously. Some labeled tptb could use the ignorance acts of biological attack to secure and track in detail the entire planets inhabitants. And those w/o implants... So maybe not a good idea. It has however been assessed that a biological attack would be a powerful blow to the modern world by terrorist if made into pandemic but if they have any real WANT to succeed or overcome their intelligence levels should alert them that it wont work as planned and may back fire tremendously consider money becoming contagious and now new money system program allowed to come into reality...
