i love this instrument and am really thinking about getting one.

I love the Theremin. There were a couple of Beach Boy songs in which it was used, "good vibrations" comes to mind and I thibk Jean Michel Jarre also used it at one stage. If I am not mistaken there is a TED video also in which a performer used one. Somehwere I have a whole video about it that I downloaded from somewhere.

Used as well by diverse groups as Led Zepplin, Beach Boys and recently blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa...it was initially used in movie soundtracks for effects. Especially in horror and outer space movies. A lot in fact in the cheap-cult scifi ones as well.

I know a woman who plays theremin with her gigantic boobs. Always crowd pleaser. Her vibrato is impressive.
