I'm retired from working with them. Frankly, I doubt your ability to do so. You can't control your emotions.

The person saying he was shot 80 times was his cousin, Andrea Martinez.

Was she there?
Where did that figure come from?

It's a ridiculous amount of rounds, but watching the video all firing stopped once he hit the ground, it's not like they stood over him and kept shooting.

I used to work in high security and medium security wards in mental health and been attacked with knifes, cricket bats and allsorts and never have needed to needed to hurt them while disarming and restraining them (apart from once when I stopped a co worker from being raped).
It is all to do with training and from what I have seen the USA have some of the worst trained police I have seen.
They need to look at the training and maybe get some training in mental health and how to deal with it without shooting people.
Oh and yes that is a big pool of blood.
My guess is you are police lol.

Like I said, you're a riot.

I highly doubt anything that spews from your fingers.

I'm not here to prove anything. I don't care if you believe me.

There is no proof 80 rounds were spent and no proof his face was shot up.

2 minutes in fact, you can time it in the video yourself

Have you ever dealt with the mentally ill?

Have you ever been trained as a police officer?

Have you ever worked as a police officer?

Really? So it's justified to shoot a mentally ill person 80 times? And you question someone if they are the police and if they are trained as well in this kind of outright murder, shame on you! I look at your description in your avatar and agree with that!

If you've never trained or worked as a police officer you don't know what you're talking about with respect to who these people are and how their job is done.

So the only people who can question the police and how they do things are police and ex police?.

That's perfect, cause I wouldn't spend a minute proving anything in my personal life to some random person on the internet, that being said,

There is a puddle of blood around him

However you wish to deny that is your own cross the bear.

The fact of the matter is, police murdered a man who suffered from schizophrenia. Doesn't really matter to me how many times they shot him one bit. They handled it the wrong manner.

Murder is hardly ever justified.

I'm sorry, but how is shooting someone 80 times justified?!??!!!

From the OP source:

“These officers, although justified, are going to have to carry that around with them for the rest of their lives,” Laredo Police Chief Ray Garner told the Houston Chronicle.

This is complete overkill and the Chief stating it's justified is a major problem. These officers should be arrested and held accountable.

Laredo Police Chief Ray Garner said six police officers, those who opened fire on 30-year-old Jose Walter Garza, were placed on administrative duties pending the outcome of the homicide investigation and a parallel investigation spearheaded by internal affairs.

Does it take 80 shots from 6 police officers to take down the suspect?

There needs to be some new laws regarding police brutality and soon. Some police are completely out of control.
