The Catholic hypocritical hubris is almost too much to bear!

The colonial Spanish government's answer was to wage war against the Aztecs, which actually increased the number of sacrifices conducted.

Spanish Colonialism, as with all European colonialism was done under the auspice of the Papal order, "The Doctrine of Discovery" with gave all Monarchs permission to conquer all non-Christians and their lands in the name of the "Church" and Jesus Christ.

And, the Spanish Catholics did NOT teach the Aztecs the "error of their ways", they forced them into submission by the end of a sword and burned those who would not comply to death.

Beginning in 1775, many of the mission Indians began to revolt. Some 800 Ipai and Tipai Indians burned down the San Diego mission that year. The revolt was brutally put down by the Spanish soldiers, as were all of the revolts.

The years of warfare and mistreatment took their toll. At the Santa Barbara mission alone, more than 4,600 Chumash names fill the burial registry. Indians were put in mass graves near the church, and were denied either traditional or Christian burials.

Honestly..... I don't think I could do it. I am to weak. And yes I would question it and I believe my God would reveal it to me as he meant to ....

But it's pretty easy to justify genocide when it is non-religious against religious people though, isn't it? How about the US led invasion against Iraq in 2003, Afghanistan? Pretty easy to justify your stance whilst omitting the foreign influences which have created these groups in the first place, CIA (non-religious), Mossad (Non-religious), Saudi Royal Family (Non-religious), US Government (Non-religious)... These problems originate from Non-Religious organizations yet you have the cheek to blame religion for the worlds problems?

I blame Atheism AKA Satanism because Religion does not promote the idea of taking a persons life and even Islam doesn't.

There was no Islam when Jesus lived.

Neither was there Christianity when Jesus lived. The point is that Islam was a promise of God due to Abraham's affair with Hagar--the second great nation and half brother to Issac. So yes, the people were there. The revelation from the angel was still to come to Muhammad. Like all revelations from Angels, we can only speculate on who these Angels were and if they were elect of God or not. What we do know is that their Messenger is Jesus and he had a message. It was to love enemies. The Quran itself calls them infidels if they do not follow the message of the messengers. My point is the duplicity of leaving the message of Jesus out of their practice. The same point can be made for Christians.

If anyone pretended to be God or an Angel and asked that as a literal, not metaphoric twisted mason meaning that alluded to something far different, (like the actual biblical passages are), but really really said that. Faith is a double edged sword. It can make you or break you. A lot of people deny the necessity of questioning your savior, but as Einstein said, question everything. Yes, even what you read in science magazines. Cool thing about science is, its best work is done when everything has been questioned. This stuff about not questioning god what gets people killed. Abraham didn't question god. And his own flesh and blood almost paid for it. Point being, that's the underlying point here. People who are so fond of questioning the government and the corporations and the banks won't question their god.

Well thats not biblical, the apostles of Christ didnt stop asking questions, anybody who trys to stop a person from questioning God and his ways is probably a cult leader.
Any Christian should study the word with great endeavour and have an answer for every question, if not then they should spend time finding the answer.

It was revealed this week that Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram beheaded a six-year-old boy on June 1 because he was a Christian.

The attack occurred in Attagara, Gwoza district, Borno State – a predominately Christian community, according to Voice of the Martyrs.

Over 100 militants descended upon the village, slaughtering men, women, and children.

Boko Haram has kidnapped and killed Christians and Shiite Muslims across Borno and Yobe States in an increasingly deadly campaign to establish an extremist, Sunni Muslim reign.

The assault on Attagara occurred as Sunday church services were beginning, according to Voice of the Martyrs (VOM). Boko Haram slashed the villagers with machetes, and fired upon them with assault weapons.

One villager, Sawaltha Wandala, was arriving at church for the second service when he saw children being massacred. One six-year-old boy had been slashed and thrown into a ditch, but he was alive. Wandala picked him up and was carrying him to a hospital in Cameroon, when he was stopped by five of the militants.

The men reportedly took the child from Wandala’s arms and beheaded him, then began beating the 55-year-old with tree branches. After striking him in the head with a rock, they left him for dead.

Two days later the militants returned, attacking Attagara and other villages in Gwoza. VOM reported that approximately 200 people were killed in the two-day assaults.

John Yakuba and his family survived the Attagara attacks and fled to Cameroon, but Yakuba returned to their home to retrieve their animals and some of their belongings. The family faced starvation at a refugee camp, and Yakuba hoped to sell the animals to support them.

Boko Haram members saw Yakuba entering his home, however, and captured him.

“We know you’re John,” they said to him, according to VOM. “You must convert to Islam or else you will die a painful death.”

When Yakuba refused to denounce Christ, they tied his arms and legs to a tree, and hacked his hands with a knife.

“Can you become a Muslim now?” the militants asked.

“You can kill my body, but not my soul,” Yakubu cried out.

The men continued to cut his feet and back with a machete and knife to torture him.

“We will show you,” they said.

Yakuba’s head was slashed, and an axe was driven into his knee, reaching the bone.

He lost consciousness and was left tied to the tree for three days before someone found him, after which he was taken to the hospital in a coma.

When Yakuba recovered sufficiently to be interviewed, he offered a message of peace to his attackers.

“I have forgiven the Islamic militants, because they did not know what they are doing,” he told VOM.

Boko Haram became internationally known after kidnapping over 270 children from an all-girls school in Chibok, Nigeria on April 14. A second mass kidnapping occurred on May 4 in Warabe. Over 200 girls remain missing.

I know the killing of children in Palestine due to war is terrible but the jews are not cutting their little heads off and displaying them for all to see .....but there are those of Islamic faith that do.

This needs to stop. How can we stop this killing of children? I believe if enough people got together and spoke with one voice and submitted some sort of signed petition to the U.N. to get "U.N" soldiers inside Nigeria to capture the entire Boko Haram islamic fanatics this might send the right signal. How can a small group of criminals evade capture to date? Because no one really cares!

How can we allow some small group of fanatics get away with these crimes? There must be something we can do? Please put "your beliefs" to the side and join together to stop the killing of children in the name of religion.

When talking about God's murderous acts in the Bible, it's often said to be righteous judgement. One thing I always hear left out of that argument is God's willingness to deny someone their free will so that he can punish them. Case in point, Exodus and the plagues of Egypt. God instructs Moses to go to Pharaoh and demand his people be let go. Then, God goes and hardens Pharaoh's heart against him. Oh and God must not have really cared much about his people because he also killed some of their first born sons during that whole ordeal.

So, God isn't above manipulating thoughts and emotions so that people deny him, in turn justifying his "righteous judgement". Meh, freewill is over rated..
