I hate getting caught up in all this CRISIS ISIS IS BS but I found, as my mind went into idle, I started to ponder the issue of a homeland attack of some sort by IS.
After 911 and such a grand attack, it would seem in post 911 the terrorist world has been changed a bit. Starting with big glorious displays of violence, to smaller and yet smaller attacks, such as embassy bombings and train/car bombs. Now we are left with beheadings and threats from cyberspace.
I don't know whether I'm right or not, but I think more of a psychological statement is being looked for now by these terrorist groups such as the killing of an important political figure to sting us all like bees, causing mass fear and panic just from the thought of it.
On the bright side, didn't many of you start threads saying Obama was going to be assassinated years ago if he got elected?

What is your first hand information? Can we have names so we can check on these people? What cost Foley his life was his job he knew the risks and accepted them.
Why is it that the people who aren't in harms way keep saying we need to act now and always follow up with "I don't want to see that happen".
The US and UK face very little threat from ISIS or ISIL or whatever they are calling themselves this week. They are only attacking places they know will give little resistance.
It is up to the nations that ISIS has attacked to deal with ISIS we should worry about fixing our own nation before solving other nations problems.
