WTF just got yelled at by a van driver

I obayed all the road laws and pulled into a turn, this van comes absolutely zooming at me and barely missing me and then shouts at me and calls me a few rude words.

I wasnt on the wrong side, i signaled in good time, i had done everything right. still he yells at me, what the hell?!

Are some car drivers just having such a bad day they have to yell at people, i was so stunned by this guy i didnt have time to react to it.

There are dangerous drivers and clearly angry drivers, ive been driving for 15 years and seem some really dangerous and stupid stuff, but just yelling at a cyclist for no reason while HE was speeding?! what the heck man, anger management much?!

He nearly kills me with his van and even though i did everything correct IM THE IDIOT?! jesus what the hell calm down YOU are the idiot and a dangerous one at that.

Some assholes just don't want to admit they are wrong so they project anger toward those they abuse. Don't let it get to you as the chance of you changing that individuals mind on it are low. I'd have pulled in front of him after and stopped him completely to let him know how I felt. Which may lead to an altercation but may as well save someone else's life.

You know I couldn't resist that after the epic thread. Some folks have non stop road rage and they don't really need a reason to get pissed and act like an idiot with no home training what so ever. It's best to just ignore them and not give them the satisfaction of even recognizing what they have done. That makes them so much madder than you getting angry back does.

no it wasnt the subway guy, i simply pull into the road, obeying every road law (because i dont want to die)

this van comes at me at 40-50 mph in a 30, and just screams at me "get out the way you #ing wanker"

i didnt do anything at all and he was clearly speeding.

no it was a white van driver, i think he was a brickie.

very angry man, he yelled at me so i yelled back "go # yourself" and he sped away fast. he clearly just wanted to shout at somone

It's what I do to my husband at any rate. I wear his teeth on a necklace as mini souvenirs and as a constant reminder to STFU. When I want his opinion I'll beat it out of him.
