FORT LEE, Va. (AP) — An active shooter has been reported at the Fort Lee Army base in central Virginia.

According to Fort Lee's verified Twitter account, the base has been put on lockdown and personnel there have been told to enact active shooter protocols.

No other details were immediately available.

Don't know what to say really. Seems as this is almost a bi-annual norm at this point. Hope it ends without fatalities... However I doubt it will. Feel free to add thoughts, updates or opinions ATS!
