Reuters has a bit different numbers, WHO says 70 die by illness and denies a Ebola link
Reuters

Thanks for the update Doll.

Looking at the time and date that Reuters published this article ( Thu Aug 21, 2014 11:11pm IST) it had not come out when RTL published their article about the 13 victims... (this was then followed by another article from Bankok).

This is actually quite an alarming number of casualties in such a short space of time...

Kindest respects

I posted about this outbreak in the other huge thread about the Ebola outbreak.

I wonder too what this one is and if its infected more people in that Area.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

If its not Ebola then I doubts it Marburg either as both are extremely similar and would have been tested at the same time.

My guess is Yellow Fever or Dengue Fever. But could be something new.

Hi Truth, yes, I saw your post but didn't get back to you *slaps my wrists*

I decided to create a new thread as apparently for the moment this new viral outbreak has nothing to do with the current Ebola outbreak.

Kindest respects

Why does no one consider that deforestation might be bringing more of these viruses to the human population?

thebulletin.org...

www.scidev.net...

www.fao.org...

I know it's more exciting to think that this is all because of germ warfare, or the elite's way of depopulation, but I think it just makes more sense to consider that we are finding more viruses that have been hidden in the deep dark forests, jungles, etc. because we are encroaching more and more into them.

I think that is separate from this.

IE the Congo has been hit twice.

No. The WHO is admitting the mistake:

The WHO said last week those deaths were not Ebola-related, but WHO spokesman Gregory Hartl said by email Sunday that the information was the result of “miscommunication from the field.”
