I have a Pomeranian dog, I swear at some point in history a raccoon and fox have got it on......

On a more serious note though, if all creatures evolved from a single thing, surely it stands to reason at some point there was a creature (or several) that was a combination of different types? Mammal like reptiles got a few hits on a Google search.
