Just one comment... Turkey signed a peace treaty over a year ago with the PKK, both sides have stuck to it so far, to the best of my knowledge. Heard a radio news report about the PKK fighters have entered Iraq and Syria to assist their Kurdish brothers.

Has something else occurred?

edit: seeing others talk about the possibility of it being a fake, I started analyzing it a bit .. and I noticed something .. watch foley when he's reading the script .. it looks like he has at most, stubble .. but in the 'aftermath' still, it looks like he has a moustache grown in ? .. am I seeing things ?

The Desert religions are dangerous because of misintepretation, you only have to look at the killings by Christianity, which is the only one of the three that has moved forward. The other two purely create division, derision and murder of anyone who is not sucked in like its followers.

It clearly needs to be, if we have to have it for the 'tell me what to do brigade' organised through a chain of properly trained Imams and Rabbis so they don't promote hate. You only have to ask yourself how can religion promote such hatred as ISIS followers show and MOSSAD when it kills people?

I saw someone getting stabbed in the neck and bleed out, I wasn't even looking for that type of vid, just a deliberately misnamed video.

That's why I never really watch real-life killings, you watch one it takes years to recover. It does make you stronger mentally I guess, but there is a tradeoff that I'm not sure is worth it.

I remember seeing a video of an Ice Hockey player who was unfortunately caught by an opponents ice skate across his neck.

Within seconds there was a HUGE puddle on the ice forming and he was in a bad way….however I believe he survived that traumatic event…..

BUT….. when i watched ''that video'' last night it did seem a little staged and I felt i would probably have been viewed as a sympathiser for NOT condemning the act but questioning it…..?

I am still a little curious about it and also Concerned that the voice of the IS murderer (?) is quite definitley British…….. i'm guessing a radicalised idiot…….

It also reminded me of the poor unfortunate soldier murdered in London (Lee Rigby ?) by two other radicalised scumbags on a street in broad daylight……

I worry that there are a number of these 'nutjobs' in our countries already…….

Time to bring back the Death penalty for such terrorists acts at home..

yes, I've seen my fair share of beheading video's from Iraq

I remember listening to the poor Korean man screaming for his life
I remember watching the various Iraqi's who struggled and gurgled there way to a agonizing death

but this video is fake.
When your head is cut off your arteries spray blood all over the place. There would be blood everywhere.
but there isn't.

Look at his feet, the dirt around his feet is barely disturbed. if your head was being hacked off, you'd be kicking and struggling until you had your last breathe.

If you were a minute away from having your head cut off, you wouldn't be so calm and relaxed and talking to the camera like your at home.

If this is a fake video, then who would do it?

I've seen accidents happen to the head and there was a lot of blood right away. (not videos, I actually witnessed them)
You hit/cut one of the main arteries and there is going to be a lot of blood, and blood spatter.

The victim could have been drugged out of his gourd for all we know and yes, I've seen a fair share myself. The victim could have been used to being in this position several times before for photo ops but this time it was actually carried out.

We don't know for sure.

I do not agree with you that the video and beheading of this poor man is fake. I personally do not watch such graphic videos as I believe it cheapens human life but I was sent a picture and if its fake then they used a lot of "Hollywood Make up" and a mannequin. Very concerned by the amount of ATS members jumping on the "its a fake" bandwagon, even more concerning is the amount of members who have admitted to watching these videos of beheading's in the past. There is a huge difference between watching gory horror movies and someone actually loosing their life. I have only ever seen one beheading video from years ago that was on a friends mobile and it still affects me to this day and I'm talking over 10 years ago since I saw it.

The victim in a beheading video, of course, has not given their consent either to their own murder or the filming and circulation of it, a dynamic of helplessness that applies equally to child pornography. Yet we do not circulate child pornography on the understanding that decent people will need to watch it and think “isn’t that dreadful?”.

Not everything is a conspiracy, and as Rainbowresidue has stated why bother faking it? These Barbarians have killed thousands in Iraq so why not one more?

Even more disturbing is the barbarian that carried out the attack sounds like he's from East London in the UK.

Its now time to consider IMO that Islam is treated as a cult. If anyone can use their holy book to carry out such dehumanising behaviour then the religion should be banned and treated as a cult. I am miffed why everyday Muslims are not on the streets protesting "Not in Our Name" and as such do not believe their religion has any place in civilised society.

He's not drugged, He doesn't struggle, he doesn't look stressed, worried and the blood on the corpse doesn't match a beheading by a long way.

He's alert, active, responsive and he looks healthy.
Pretty good for a man who's apparently been captive for 2yrs.

You should really see the other complete ISIS videos…. much more graphic than this.
Also I think you are looking past the fact that the shere shock of the action would pretrify this poor chap and render him unconscious just before dying.

I'm all against western imperialism, but ISIS is a new game altogether. I think they were an out of control asset that turned monstrous when the Syria campaign failed.

So against all my wishful thinking, I do believe that handling ISIS now is a needed decision. Not because of this journalist, but because of the horror they have unleashed on the innocent people of Iraq and Syria.

I don't see how these people would ever listen to the most open hearted caring person in the world, their hearts are too filled with hate to be able to ever love again.

For all those people who used logic and defined this video as a fake, there's your motive.
People are jumping on the bandwagon that this man was British and Islam should be treated as a cult.

I don't know what happen to the man in the jumpsuit, but this video is not proof he was beheaded.

Why would ISIS be so willing to video tape and present movies of endless people being shot and butchered.
But they blacked out the scene where an ''American'' was beheaded?

where's the blood, wheres the struggle, wheres the emotion.

Because I watched the video.
A drugged prisoner wouldn't be able to talk into the camera like that in such a calm manner with clear concise words, no stuttering, no heavy breathing, no emotion no nothing.

yes, I was not there with a drug testing kit, bravo! but simple logic can be used here to see this is a fake story planted by a fake government to produce an emotional response.

Logic dictates that facts be used to determine the validity of the situation. Have decapitations taken place by this group before? Yes, Is the victim actually dead and was the cause of death decapitation? We will see when and if his body is recovered. Then we'll know not until then.

Simply declaring it FAKE and Hoax isn't using logic, it's a knee jerk emotional response in support of a Government did it conspiracy theory.
