Having said that… people get upset by seeing things like this……. and so maybe this was the intention…..get the masses and hysteria going so as to avoid the detail and event………..


I have removed the images because 'BellaGirl' didn't like them and i'm sure some ATS mods will ''dock'' me a few points BUT this is a serious issue and people need to wake up from their sugar coated world of Costa Coffee and Pop culture…

i fully understand the disgusting world we are living in....but.....i should have the choice as to whether i want to see them or not.

I am not trying to avoid what they are doing and have commented on many threads on here about the absolute danger this group poses. I believe that the world is facing a new kind of evil the like we have never seen before.

I have just gotten home from a long nightshift and thought i would flick through ats before bed. just not something i expected to see without having the choice of clicking on a link to view.

p.s...just watching cnn who has now broken into their regular programing with breaking news of this story.

No I was not being sarcastic.

I was simply using the terms used by the Islamic State IS uses when describing non-Muslims or Muslims of "the wrong sect" who they feel free to behead., torture, crucify and worse.

The West did NOT create this mess, the Muslims created it by not stopping the extremists who besmirch and defile the name of their God and their religion. The West has only made matters worse by being mercenaries for the Islamic countries who are afraid to intervene in their own cesspool.

I am also correct in saying that any westerner, any non-muslim who goes into that area, knows what could be the result and while we should mourn, the journalist knew the risk he was taking.

Exactly, who benefits? The west will certainly benefit if they can justify boots on the ground. Once there, they will march their collective asses into Syria. That's where ISIS "HQ" is supposedly at and we all know Syria is the prize. Than again, maybe my tin foil hat is just wrapped to tight. The executioner has an East London / Pakistani accent by all accounts, I refuse to watch the video - I've just been reading comments on reddit and such, who have analysed the video.

Also some of the comments are saying they have THREE more hostages, not just one.

Can not even imagine the fear the other hostage, Steven Joel Sotloff, his family and friends must be feeling.

Foley's family in New Hampshire said they had not received confirmation of the journalist's death.

Wow!!! That was disturbing! This doesn't seem to be getting the attention it deserves. I had to search for this thread. Seeing the president speak yesterday, I was thinking he looks like he needs a longer vacation. He looks stressed, thin & sickly..just my opinion( and I don't really care for our president!). My heart just bleeds for Foley & his family. That was so awful. Has it been established this is real? Looked really real to me. TY OP for making this thread. Hopefully it gets the attention it deserves...MINUS THE GORE!

This guy was a journalist, not even a soldier.

My prayers and thoughts to the family and friends of James Foley. I can't even fathom what he went through.

May he rest in peace.

And may ISIS and whoever follows after them, feel the fear Mr Foley had to face.
