About a month ago a business friend of my husband came in to his place of employment and my husband was asking him about our privacy with our smart phones. The friend is an IT guy, so a good source to ask about phone privacy. What the man divulged to my husband blew his mind and when my husband told me, my mind was blown and I'd like to know what you think. I'm going to try to lay this out very easily but it's a lot to take in.

For the past few years our city has had a severe problem with cell phone service, so much so that I've changed carriers out of necessity. The same "we're working on the cell phone towers" excuse became old after three years without cell phone service.

This man told my husband that the government has been covertly working on cell phone towers in our area, but here is where it gets really weird. (first of all, this guy was a former employee for this operation, that is how he has this information).

The government operation is working out of a business called SEPCO.

[LINK REMOVED]

However, this isn't really a solar lighting company. This company isolated all their IT guys during working hours. The man entered the building and was walked to his cubicle by a fully armed US soldier. Each employee in the IT department was guarded by a soldier, so much so that even when they went to use the bathroom or on break, the guard went with them. He said the pay was so top notch, he put up with it but said it was very scary. He was contracted through Sepco, through the US government.

Also, his job included IT work on the circuit boards but he was only allowed to access one circuit board at a time, which made the job ultra challenging. I don't know anything about IT work but he said you need access to all circuit boards in order to make a system work. The government would not allow this.

The guy was really creeped out by all this so he began watching things to see if he noticed anything else that was odd. (Remember, he thought he applied for SEPCO and thought he was working for SEPCO but in reality it was a government operation).

What he noticed was that dozens upon dozens of employees showed up to work but were escorted to white vans. Later he found the white vans dropped the employees off at Grummen Rd and they transferred to different vans which took them to Okeechobee. He has no clue what is going on out in Okeechobee but he said the company has over 30 of these vans.

Through poking around he found that the project (from as far as he could tell) was channeling all data through cell towers to a central hub in Atlanta, GA for data mining purposes. The project is called Big Ben 7, at least through inter-office memos. I know gathering cell data is no big deal, it's been in the works forever but something else is happening in this scenario.

He also discovered that the "Solar lights" are being manufactured overseas and being sold to middle eastern countries only and they are bullet proof and have RF and some other type of frequencies installed in them (think he said HF?). Both frequencies are really bizarre for a straight up solar light.

My husband did some digging on the company and found out that April 13, 2014 they closed their doors, saying they were out of business but the very next day SEPCO changed their name to the full version (Solar Electric Power Company), appointed a new VP and moved their location down the street, which just happens to be very near Grummen Rd, where they take their employees.

The building is teeny tiny, about twice the size of a fast food restaurant but has over 300 employees. How is that possible? They have to be shipping off their employees to another undisclosed location. The building could not house 300 people and this man said that while he was there, there was only a few IT guys and the soldiers, that was all.

So what in the heck is our government doing? Why are they taking all data and routing it through Atlanta? Why are soldiers with fully automatic weapons guarding employees? Why are they transferring employees from one location to another and another? Why aren't employees allowed contact with one another? Why can't they pee in privacy?

ADMIN NOTICE

It has been confirmed that the website originally linked-to is a small family-run business that has nothing to do with what is discussed in this post.

I'm not sure if its related but there is a data mining facility off of McFarland Rd in Alpharett Ga.

Awesome story, S&F! I wish I could be more helpful but I don't know what to think. Will definitely be following this thread though!

I live in Okeechobee. Are they being brought to Okeechobee in these white vans? I will keep an eye out out and if I see anything around the county ill try and check it out. Very interesting article.

Atlanta's where the CDC is right? Maybe mining the net for banter about ebola and who's worthy to live.

They are. I'm not sure how this guy knew the vans were going to Okeechobee, as he didn't say how he knew that. Do you see the vans around or have you in the past?

His contract with the government ended in February and was thinking the entire project was over in April, but my husband works near Grummen Rd in Stuart and still sees the fleet of white vans there. However, the company changing names and moving in April could mean the project ended? Or maybe the project entered a different phase? I don't know, maybe it's nothing.

I've checked google earth to view Okeechobee to see if I can see anything suspicious but I haven't so far. Obviously I have too much time on my hands.

All cellphone data, ISP data, Google data, Point of sale data (buying things), Library data, etc... is being mined and has been data mined for a long time. As a tech who has worked in every industry I would be startled if there was data left some where that was not being mined. Either by 3rd party and sold to the government or by the government. Whether law enforcement or HLS.

Thank you. I do understand this is an old thing, not new news, but it's the other stuff in conjunction with this operation that disturbs me. Why the cover-up with the light towers? Why the towers being made to register different frequencies, why the need for them to be bullet proof? Why are they only selling to the middle east? Why the huge secrecy and security with the staff? Why are they shuttling them to different locales?

None of that equals just plain data mining. Data mining is public knowledge. This seems too high security for just a data mining operation. But that is my opinion and I posted this to tap the brains of all of you and I know many are much more informed and aware than I am.

Thanks again.

a reply to: [post=18307826]quirkygirl[/post I have seen white vans in groups out this way here and there for the last few years. Never really paid attention but now im curious. If whatever is going on is still happening ill make sure I keep my eyes extra hawk like and im in stuart pretty often ill take a ride down Grumman road and check it out see if I notice anything strange.

It seems to me this is the most important thing he told you.
I hope he did not sign any non disclosure, either way he clearly learned more than he was supposed to know and shared it with your husband. I sincerely hope he is safe, I am sure they can find who you are and from there to him.

I did toy with the idea of not posting this because of non-disclosure and perhaps us knowing too much, but I decided we don't really know squat. We just have a lot of questions but no real direction or a means of getting our questions answered, unless someone here knows something. It's just peculiar and doesn't sit well.

Thanks for keeping an eye out flareva1. Yeah, be sure to check Grummen area in Stuart. They hold the vans in a large parking lot.

agreed, I bet they are putting spying devices in the lights so they can eavesdrop on phone calls, unless they can already do that with satilites then these lights are for some other spying purpose.

edit: maybe we can get an idea of what they are up to by the name that they chose for the project "big ben 7"

How much are they selling the lights for? maybe they aren`t "lights" at all. a bullet proof solar "light"?

The man actually did inquire about bullet proof lighting, they said it was to prevent vandalism.

I haven't heard anything pertaining to your story but back in 2002-2004 here in NJ an architectural firm was offering the same type of premium salary for building cell phone towers. It was very easy 'cookie-cutter' type work and they gave each employee a BMW to use as a company car, to take home and use as your own. I spoke to many friends/colleagues as we were all trying to apply at the time and eventually 2 of them did get hired. Well the story sounded pretty much the same as you described with all the cloak and dagger type issues and what not. But information on the technical end was sub contracted out to private sources, so no concrete info ever came out of it.
Eventually I went looking for similar jobs like this, with inside government ties, and landed a very lucrative one in Gallup, NM. Same MO, extremely high pay and very easy work, I didn't even need to go to architectural school to learn how to do much of what I did. I was just a glorified project manager.
Also just to note, most freestanding structures/equipment tied into the emergency broadcasting system in coastal areas, such as cell towers, have to be 'bullet proof' not because people are shooting at them. It is simply due to the effects of wind and debris caused by hurricanes. There is no other classification to designate other then bullet/blast proof on most of these items. So they just call that for ease of reference.

Also the data from what I have been told, is being stored locally at strategic target points, such as Atlanta and other cities. Then they send all the collected information via. another less modern method, probably truck, to a centralized location which collects and diffuses everything. You can't get access or follow the trail because there is no electronic access or trail to follow.
Old tricks are the best tricks. . .

Big Ben 7, is the QB for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ben Roethlisberger. Whoever came up with the project is probably a football fan. That's all I got.

Wow, thank you for such an interesting response. Your situation sounds so much like the project here. Interesting bit of info at the end about the old-school way being implemented because it's not tracked. Hmmm.

Thanks for the clarification on the bullet proof thing. That makes sense too!

This just sounds like, par for the course, compartmentalization. Its just how government affiliated contracts work. High pay, easy work if it is in your field of expertise. Being hired through a separate entity and not directly by the government. This seems slightly more secretive than usual. With the armed guards taking your source everywhere, even the bathroom.

Everything is data mined and recorded. Absolutely everything at this point. No matter how you try to hide what your doing. Unless your an expert and genius with computers. Everything you say or type on a cell phone or computer is intercepted in someway. Now, that does not mean it is being read or listened too. There is just way too much data. That is where all those super computers come in. To sift through the data and point out what is relevant and what is not.

This is just the times we live in. It can not really be stopped. It is too late. It is too monolithic. You would have to take out the entire grid and everything with a computer chip. Then take out multiple hard points that are cut off from everything. Where back ups of the data are located. The time to stop this was like 20 plus years ago. People tried to warn us. No one paid attention. Now its too late.

The future is here.

Unfortunately, I have felt for many months now it's time to just sit back, buckle up and enjoy the ride! It may not end the way we want it to, but as you stated earlier - it's a little too late to complain now!
I wish everyone the best in these trying times. . . good luck all!

or a seat to sit in, in the first place ?

tough luck i guess

I've heard of this before. A guy I know told me it happened years ago when Motorola invented the satellite phone and the GPS system, of which there are two btw. Only 2 nations have access to GPS 2.
