Hello all. I am fortunate enough that a store in my general area is to open soon and will sell doomsday supplies. I live in North Carolina. Does anybody of another state have any stores similar that are close to them? The store is estimated to open in about a month.

I'm right at the VA/NC border here. I haven't heard about the store but would like to go when they open. Do you happen to have any links, area it's located, etc.?

Awesome!! Thanks. That's not real far from me. I'm excited to go and see what they will have. Leave it to the folks in the country to make it big on doom porn merchandise.

After watching the vid, it looks to more like a Army/Navy surplus store to me.

Now if he also had racks of weapons on the wall, then it would be something.

Looks like what we would call over here a Army Surplus Store.

The End is Nigh, Better start a Business.

Lol that's the only thing that bummed me out. Makes it sound all cool in the beginning and then practically scream army surplus. However, since people are all into prepping, putting doomsday preparedness on a surplus store brings more business and if anything, now I have something to invest in and get my fair share of money from lol

That's a great business idea, especially when there are popular shows like Doomsday Preppers, Mountain Men, etc. getting people interested in the topic. I would go check it out to see what they have and what the prices were but pretty sure a lot of it is overpriced. Just a guess.

It'd be interesting to see what kinds of products were new and unique for any given situation. Wonder if the products they sell are geared and marketed to the region the store is located in? Thanks for sharing, OP. S&F

The whole concept seems a bit ironic to me... I'm going to a store to buy things that I'll need to survive when there are no more stores. Well, good luck surviving then! Those most likely to survive an apocalyptic event aren't going to need store-bought items.

Just sayin'...
