The pc crowd is really out there. Apparently the term 'ninja' is synonamous with a racial derogatory term for another race besides Asian. News to me. When will it end?

"Justin Timberlake Calls Madonna His 'Ninja,' Outrage Ensues"

"Almost immediately, Twitter users began calling out the 33-year-old singer for his use of the word, which is viewed by many a still-troublesome substitute for the word "n****" "

At this rate, we all better keep our mouths shut, lest the thought police get us. George Orwell was right all along.

Well, Madonna does have some killer ninja skill.

Anyway, people in general get outraged over the dumbest things. So I am not surprised.

I use to call people that all the time, what the hell is wrong with all these cry babies lately?

I'm going to start saying " my bubble gum" what's up and see how long someone thinks it's a racist issue.

I am offended by everyone else's "offendedness" and I think they should knock it the hell off to spare me further offense.

I'll wish in one hand...

This is Too Damn Funny, I am just laughing over this, Teenage Mutant "Ninja" Turtles!!!! HAHAHA. Now if they really are gonna turn this word into a negative, then they should start point the fingers in the right directions. lol. Heck, this "Title" is more Offensive now...and it became a movie!! Ridiculous.

From now on, if a person uses the word "Ninja," it must be at least seven words away from the word "guy, or my, or mutant, or turtles." -SP, Senator 3

I can't believe this was news worthy.

It's already passed ridiculous and is now treading into the realm of just plain stupid. People are having their careers and livelihood taken from for a simple linguistic misstep. It needs to end.

Better watch it. "Bubble gum" could be extrapolated and interpreted as the term "bubble butt" which could be viewed as both racist and sexist.

It won't surprise me if the NAACP calls for boycotts against this movie, and forces them to change the title.

The word racist is the 21st century version of the word witch. Little to no evidence is needed to convict someone of it and upon conviction your whole life is destroyed.

Huffington Post is the source of the story. Twitter is the source of the ridiculousness.

It's a BS article by some non-ninja who's got their wires all crossed. One or two white celebs have sung a few hip-hop tracks and replaced the word beginning with N with (close your eyes) 'ninja.' Then a few twitter-morons have associated the n-word with ninja and stupidly, taken it as a code-word for n-word and therefore racist.

Who cares?

Ninja was cool before Chuck Norris jokes and no dopey-ass twitter users will ever stop that. Don't encourage them

Ninja!

The term Ninja was banned in the UK in the 80's:

Upon TMNT's first arrival in the United Kingdom, the name was changed to "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" since local censorship policies deemed the word ninja to have excessively violent connotations for a children's program.[17] Consequently, everything related to the Turtles had to be renamed before being released in the UK.

PC nannies everywhere.
