No politics, Eric Holder is going there tomorrow and I figured he may have given the order for a crackdown on violence.

Saying he's gonna go off air for a second to figure out an audio issue, will be back in a few minutes, still about 10 minutes away from the protest, walking towards them while he reboots

Edit: looks like he was walking north on W Florissant from Lucas Hunt Rd

Discussions today centered on Eric Holder's office having the authority to take over prosecution of this case. This idea has merit worth considering, given the potential conflicts of interest for the elected officials in this circumstance.

Tim just said reporters were walking away from the "press pen"/first flashpoint area because "it's pretty quiet tonight." Shameful. :/

Edit: the walking away reporters made the "quiet tonight" comment to him when he asked why they were leaving

Hmm, just muted all my other streams to be sure, but I know Tim's voice pretty well-------and yes, just confirmed now, I can hear him, maybe he is having audio issues still with just some users/PC platforms?

Wow, Tim is at Ferguson and W Florissant, the "main intersection" area and it's totally quiet. Even some dudes with a "peace train" thing, lol. Totally silent. ...........why?


And RT is showing the press pen, but it's obviously not where it was last night, where is RT, anyone know?

I hope Tim stays away from tear gas and guns tonight....especially guns. Glad to see he made it out OK last night after the lockdown.

That makes sense, I'm only hearing it on my right speaker, maybe adjusting audio settings to allow divided speaker channels will help?
