Anyone else getting warnings from Virgin about ATS?

That is a virus you pocked up somewhere else I'm afraid. Our code is incapable of giving you advice like that.

you all must think your device/PC operates 100% as instructed... it may but there are internet gremlins which can send you to unintended places like the posted Warning of IP Address on the screen shot

I in the recent hour could not get rid of the music from the web-site of 'heart of vegas' + 'double down' casinos as I was getting my free chips paid ever hour-&-daily...
I had to clear the browser to get rid of that obnoxious noise

it seems not to be things in your computer preprogrammed responses that get haywire (security settings etc.) but just the traffic/switching/ADs pop-ups ad lazy curser anomalies that bring up stuff that cause you concern ~at the moment~

ATS has Google following you & that might be the false alert signal

I was bounced off line from 7:30 AM- to- 7:44 PM because of my ISP, TWC had a 'hub' software problem on Thursday--- today is Sat.
the service Tech told me that he had 5 other complaints that day...so I was the 6th that this one service tech had that day

so don't tell me that gremlins on the internet are not there...and can cause problems like unwarranted website security warnings

Its usually an AV warning as some have web protection. Avast has this. They are often false reporting.

Maybe Virgin have one on their side that runs for the end users. My ISP does apparently but I havent seen anything to suggest so at my side.

To the OP: Make sure your computer's time and date is set up properly. I don't recommend IE, I would look into a different browser if you can, but if you must use it-you MUST update your time on that computer. The same is true for any other browser, and I will explain it in the 2nd paragraph. Double click your windows clock in the lower right of the screen. Go to the options to set your date. I cannot reference it directly, but I am sure you can figure it out.

The reason to keep the date and time updated on the computer is because websites have security certificates that have expirations on them. Sometimes, if your time is even off by 2 hours on the computer, certain web pages will not work.

If you set the time and date on your computer, but then it resets after you reboot, then replace the battery on the motherboard. It is a size CR2032 3v battery if it is a desktop computer. CR2032 is a common button-cell type battery sold at Radio Shack, and practically any department store. If it is a laptop computer, take it to your service shop to have them replace the battery (Also known as the CMOS battery, BIOS battery, RTC [real-time clock]battery). Hope that helps.

I am pretty much 100% sure that what I said above is the fix for the OP. It has nothing whatsoever to do with a virus, or anything of the sort being mentioned in this thread. It looks like a time and date problem to me. Please try the fix that I outlined above, as it should fix this issue. For all future people on ATS with this issue, I hope they read these posts...

never had that with ATS ?
maybe they are just starting it up?
or testing it?
