Just want to make a couple of points. Something I see again and again(a couple of things actually). While reading comments and news on this story, I
can't help but notice it is always "a young black male"....or "if I saw a large black male running at me" etc. In similar stories, it never says
"the young white male".....simply "a young male suspect".
Also.... as in Brown's friend's video....it's "n***a did this" or "nigga did that". Many will say "it's ok...it means nothing bad in that
context".
BOTH of these are wrong, in my humble opinion. In posting comments here, why can't it be "the young man"?
I, as a white woman, was hesitant to even WRITE the word n***a...because of flack I might get. But he can say that repeatedly. I think it just
sounds bad.
Whether it is a friendly reference or not, it sounds self depreciating...literally EVERY OTHER word.
