Yeah, I just found out about this today. It's confusing at best and at worst completely disturbing. How can they reasonably say they are here for the people when they want to ban something that can't cause harm. Oh, I guess the bad guys can have it but really? Is that their reason? Now with this St. Louis game unfolding I only see it as a way to make paper targets out of everyone.

It is so sad how the U.S. culture has been inverted, in the early 90's there were songs about "cop-killers" and now we have news stories about "killer cops".
