Getting tear-gassed probably didn't help her disposition. The Governor had announced he would come to Ferguson. Is he a no show all-together?

So I heard a little rumor that the police chief used to be high up in county and that having county look into the case was pretty blatantly a conflict of interest (more so than usual). Anyone know if that's true? Not talking about Johnson.

Also really impressed with this Johnson guy. Community policing works much better.

I'd say she is as she stuck by her constituents through it all and even when it meant she got tear gassed. As she did. Repeatedly. Standing by your constituents no matter what comes your way is pretty classy in my book, too. I think we need more politicians that are willing to actually be there than those who spent last night having a lovely dinner at a nice private party.

It's true. I saw it on a video that I clicked on right here at ATS. It would take me time I don't have to look for it now, but what I recall from the video is that (whoever was filming) was a person at the scene..not long after it happened, and I heard him say, "dayem, they puttin' him in the back of that SUV", and sounds of a heavy sigh, and I saw what he saw.

Nice, did I not call it earlier that an officer should do what this guy is doing? Take off your helmets/gas masks and join the people...this is good to see, thanks for reposting the tweets

It's misinformation. There are plenty of current pictures that more accurately represent the actual situation this day. No other news organizations are tweeting images from yesterday, today… at least not so far.

The title of the thread no long represents whats happening on the ground, amazing the difference 24 hours can make
