Lets leave the running of the board to those who are doing it now.

Unless your a member of DISC, or a mod, super mod, or other admin, the inner workings of the board and the way it is run shouldn't be of concern. and the DISCers don't run anything.... thats all up to the mods and admin.

You're right..In the begining when I had just joined this great site..I had recieved a couple of warnings about the too much quoting and inconcistencies with my links and some copy and pasting issues..I was new to the system..and one day I did feel like just giving up..and asked to be removed..However the staff,gave me another chance and I must say I'm very glad that did..It might have been an impulsive moment I had..but they still saw that my mistakes were probably justified as I had just been new to the site..
But I can most definatly say that they do not take it lightly upon themselves to just dump someone and end of story..they did look at my case and saw that I had room for improvement..So I say Thank You All to the ATSmods and I have no doupt in their capabilities to run this site as well as they do...and yes they are also just humans and if any mistakes would have happened in excluding someone,I'm sure that when the person involved would have bothered to bring the isse up again with them ,they would have checked it out once again and if it would be unjustified they will take the necessary actions to fix it..
I'm however surpriced that this thread is still running,because really it should'nt have taken more than ten posts to get this sorted..maybe not...

Well, just out of curiosity, what about the other side? Like members who were banned and camed back. One even to be actually responding to this thread - ROTFL

This is a boots on the ground operation soldier, and SkepticOverlord is on the front lines, I'm not to crazy about his uniform (rough, scratchy wool is the only thing a soldier should wear), but at least he doesn't need a haircut.

WOW WOW some really over sensitive people on this site.I only wanted to know if we could get a list of reasons a member gets banned.
If when someone gets banned you just wrote next to Banned the reason eg pervert,homophobic,idiot,made threats,prat,biggot, etc would satisfy my curiousity

As for monitoring this site yes fine no l don`t have a problem with the policing of this site if l had one l would vote with my feet shut the hell up and leave.Even intellectuals can get fun from posting a few insults

it's not policing. it's moderating. no one gets arrested, no one gets fined. theres terms and conditions to follow, and someone needs to enforce them, constantly and consistently, and that is what the damn fine leaders of this board do.
