It`s all based on official Kiev statements, maybe try to read up on how it has really happened before writing "wrong."

Maybe try reading what the Red Cross says:

The ICRC is seeking more information about the 280-vehicle aid convoy that left Moscow for eastern Ukraine on 12 August 2014. Laurent Corbaz, ICRC Head of Operations for Europe and Central Asia, says the organization still needed security guarantees and direct contact with all parties, plus details of the convoy's cargo and its size.

Maybe try reading what the official Russian press agency says:

“In contact with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Ukrainian government, representatives from other international organizations, including the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), we worked out a scheme that was finally agreed yesterday,” Lavrov said, adding that Russia had agreed with all of Ukraine’s suggestions on all aspects of the operation, including a new route mapped by the Kiev authorities despite the fact that it would take a lengthy detour.

So is Russia communicating with the Red Cross or not? Have they agreed to Kyiv's terms or not?

Like I said, read up first, you`re only coming up with a small part of what has been going on...what you come up with is indeed what has been agreed earlier, but has been blown already again.

Yes, by Russia. Red Cross needs information from Russia, they were never sent it. Russia as of this moment is NOT working with the Red Cross, one of the points they agreed to. That comes directly from the Red Cross. Kiev is now saying NO because Russia broke the agreement.

They are, but there are still negotiations going on and it`s not all settled

"According to Isyuk, the ICRC yesterday requested information about the types of assistance being delivered from the Russian authorities, such as the volume of items, transportation arrangements, and storage details.

The response from Moscow had been “positive,” she said, but not enough to bring the organisation on board."

Which means as of this moment the ICRC is not involved, yet Putin is already sending the convoy out. Doesn't that strike you as odd?

Oh, and it's funny how all the things you said was western propaganda and false because Putin would never do that, you now admit he did, only now it's no big deal. Hilarious.

We can conclude at least one thing, Kiev is full of BS, but yeah, what`s new.

Wrong. Ukraine has been consistent in its terms; Russia claims to agree to the terms, but does not take steps to fulfill them. What's new?

No, that is based on YOUR Dutch sources and official Red Cross statements.

It`s based on Kiev statements, it doesn`t matter if it`s reported by the Dutch media !

It`s still in Russia for now, part of the convoy is moving south. Yes ICRC is not involved atm, but Russia has contact with them...so it might well be involved or not...you`re jumping the gun.

For everyone now really scratching his head, here`s a recap :

- Kiev said NO to Convoy first

They said no to a RUSSIAN Convoy.

- Then they said YES to it, but the goods had to be put on Ukrainian trucks at the border

They said yes as long as the goods were inspected and out of Russian hands at the border.

- After that they AGREED to have license plates swapped, and checked out by the Red Cross

They said yes as long as the goods were inspected and out of Russian hands at the border. Russia agreed that only the Red Cross should do this.

- Yesterday they said a big fat NO again

They said yes as long as the goods were inspected and out of Russian hands at the border. Russia said NO, we are taking it ourselves, the Red Cross has confirmed as of now they are not involved at all.
- BBC now claims, Kiev says again "Needs to be inspected but can go IN"

We can conclude at least one thing, Kiev is full of BS, but yeah, what`s new.

Make that Putin, who has gone back on his word multiple times, and Kiev has been 100% consistent.

Too much spin going on here, not even going to second to that...

...but I`m also off, got other stuff to do, have a nice day.

Hahahahahaha! OMG that is pure GOLD!

First we have Dutch sources are legit and can't be spun.

It seems Dutch media is being less biased "now" so they are willing to give that information (they had a lot of complaints after all the MH17-crash crap they spewed out), the Dutch media sources I gave you are legit...but it`s difficult for you to spin them, isn`t it ?

Then we have if you want to know what's going on look at Dutch sources they are not anti-Putin.

originally posted by: BornAgainAlien
You`re coming with an English source because it suits your needs, the Dutch news sources have different reporting on what`s going on, what do want to know, stuff that suits your anti-Putin view or stuff about really is going on ?

Then as soon as it's shown Dutch sources say exactly what my other sources say ...

Dutch are just parroting western media MSN and are wrong.

I linked you to the most recent announcement from the ICRC; they are saying the Russians are not communicating with them, although the official Russian media outlet claims they are. One of them is lying.

No, Russia saying they are sending the convoy without following through with the agreement is jumping the gun. Kiev has said yes every single time .. so long as the plan agreed to by Russia is followed. Russia is not following it, but still saying the convoy is going.

Seeing and what happened in Libya, Syria, Iraq, it is wise for Russia to solve this Ukraine issue at once and for long term. No need to have a volatile state across the border giving all sorts of headaches.

It's time for Kiev Terrorist Junta to pack up and leave and make a new capital in Lviv. They will get the western bulge on the map near Poland and live their with the Right Sector Nazi ideology worshiping Hitler and other demonic personalities that caused immense suffering to the human race in the past and still continue to influence somewhat.

Rest of the map will be NovoRussia at peace and progress.

Current info from Bloomberg. Looks like the Russian convoy has been parked, Kiev has now sent their own convoys and the head of Europe's ICRC will be going to Kiev and Moscow "soon" to discuss the Russian convoy. Soon.. that sounds like a bit of a relative time-frame. Politics as usual? Smells fishy to me.

Ukraine’s government said yesterday it would allow in the aid carried by hundreds of trucks from Russia if officials can inspect it and the Red Cross distributes it.

The Russian convoy turned west toward Ukraine at Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) by road from the border, the Associated Press reported. The trucks parked in a field, according to a BBC reporter following them.

Convoys of Ukrainian trucks left Kiev, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk for the border regions engulfed by fighting, television pictures showed. They will all head to Starobelsk, in the north of the Luhansk region, with the aid being passed to the Red Cross to distribute, according to the government press service.

Laurent Corbaz, the International Committee of the Red Cross’s head of operations for Europe, will travel to Kiev and Moscow “soon,” with the Russian convoy on the agenda for discussions.

I do not understand that is this is legit aid why Russia has not just turned it over to the Red Cross for distribution to take care of just as Ukraine has done. Working with the Red Cross is very easy and they are very good at what they do. Why does Russia have to turn this into such a cluster?

From what I can gather the trucks or still miles from the boarder and parked due to either them or the Red Cross requiring "more info" on the contents of the trucks. Russia has said it will make it available and the Red Cross said they are going to Kiev and then Moscow to work it out.

Huh, these people have no representatives locally and don't own a FAX machine? It looks like 1) the Red Cross is stalling, 2) Russia is stalling or 3) they're all stalling.

Russia is stalling. The Red Cross said we need to know what is in there, Russia has not told them. They need to know the route, Russia has not told them. They need to know how they will be kept safe, Russia has not given info on that either.
