Perhaps they are the most savage out there right now. There are a few more around though who may have more bloodshed. The Lord's Resistance Army comes to mind, they have been accused of murder, mutilation, abduction, and child-sex slavery apparently. Maybe the Tamil Tigers, Boko Harum, and The Zetas (okay, they are more of a criminal syndicate but if you go by a definition of 'cult', then I don't think ISIS would match it).

The bad thing about this is that the world isn’t mad enough.

Britain left India in 1947. The first time in the history of India the population exceeded 1 billion was in 1999. That's 50 years after The British left India.

You do know that the total world population in 1950 ( 3 years after The British left India ) was 2.5 billion.
For Britain to have killed 1.8 billion Indians it would have meant Britain had killed about 65% of The World's population based on 1950 figures.
