[MOON] Post your moon shots!

These are some shots I've taken over the course of this year, I sadly don't remember the time frames for some of these. Except for the first one & second, it was the 'Blood Moon' that happened this year. All were taken with a D5100.

IMHO, in the field of astrophotography, our moon is maybe the least of interest what you could try to photograph.

Well I would say your 100% wrong it's the most photographed object because it's easy!

I must agree, photographing the moon can be rewarding but it is the least challenging astronomical object to properly photograph (though of course continual refinement in lunar/planetary imaging techniques can yield continual improvement in the resulting images). As with probably every amateur astrophotographer, I started with the moon because it was the easiest place to start. Deep space astrophotography is in my experience the most challenging but also the most rewarding.
