Is this year really unusual?

look back at July 2009 for example:

weatherearthnews.blogspot.co.uk...

Plenty of extreme weather events there, just as this year. But we have short memories.

Hmm..... Makes some People Wonder if the Worlds Weather Patterns are somehow being Effected Artificially . Or are they just being Paranoid ?

With the el nino pattern setting up this winter those of us in the south should prepare for an exceptionally cold and snowy winter mark my words. This will be one to remember

This has been going on for awhile. For several years I have been collecting information about strange weather and other geophysical changes.

***snip***snip***

There is certainly something going on. If you want to check the material out for yourself. Feel free to grab a copy of the scrapbook here:

uto.sigsno.org...

It is not for the faint of heart though.

This is what I like to see. Data! I like WhiteAlice's approach. Though I can definitely see the value in collecting news reports. For my money, I wish people would read up on the state of the art in climatology. There are huge freely available libraries available online. I hope more people take advantage of it, because what is happening is genuinely scary stuff.

I love how you skeptics are always trying to claim this.

Relax there is nothing to worry.

...and I love how you doom porners never read history.

History is my other passion. Let's discuss the last Maunder Minimum and its global effects in terms of famine and disease, shall we? That's the last time we had a very significant climate change.

Many of us are talking about the weather that has been occurring over the last several years, myself included. In the case of extreme weather, trends are never good.

scholar.google.com...

To look for the most current information, just use the bar on the left. I generally look at 2013 and 2014 publications. The ones that have a link on the right side are those links that are freely and fully available without registration or fee. Not all the articles are necessarily going to be pleasant but keep in mind that they are trying to create predictive models using as much data as they can to figure out what is most likely going to happen if things persist. That's a good thing.

Maybe Nibiru/Hercolobus is approaching and they've somehow hidden it from us.... with the same technology that can he used on airplanes to have one surface as a screen showing what is captured by cameras on the other (top) surface. Except a gigantic planet sized version. And the NSA spying is being used to find and hypnotize or otherwise deter anyone who might discover it or be about to discover it. They just need enough time to complete their preparations... I miss when every time a comet came by it was Nibiru on ATS

I was just looking out my window at the weeping willow tree next to my house and I noticed something unusual about it.
All of the branches on the north side of the tree have lost their leaves, the branches on the south side of the tree still have all their leaves. There are yellow leaves all over the ground on the north side of the tree,it seems like the north side of the tree thinks it`s fall already, but the south side still has all it`s green leaves.

something very strange is going on , thanks for OP for the video.

Mass Deaths of Fish, Tornados, Massive Typhoons, Sink Holes, Super Volcano melting Roads. And all sort of Extreme weather conditions. River`s water turning red? Magnetic Field weakening in Atlantic Ocean, i could only imagine it has had its effect on gulf stream as well, cause we have had our own share of strange weather during 2014 in scandinavia.

It's been quite a weird summer down here in SW Scotland too. I wouldn't say it's been hot as in "prolonged heat wave", but we've had an unusually warm May, June and July with very little rain (six weeks without even a light shower during June/July - which is unusual in this part of the world). But the weirdest part of this summer has been August itself. I can't remember an August being so cold. Not "winter" cold, but night time temperatures falling to 2'C (35'F) is virtually unheard of. Even today as I write this just after noon, its only 9'C (48'F). And it's the first time in 12 years (living in this house) that I've had to put the heating on at this time of year when normally it doesn't go on until the beginning of October. Also, everyone I know (or that's how it seems) comments on how early darkness falls. Usually at this time of year, it's still daylight at 10pm. Now darkness falls anywhere between 8.30pm and 9pm.

Other strange things I've noticed these past few years seem to be weather related too. Normally in this part of the world, trees being to bud just before or around Easter. Now, some trees don't begin to bud until late May/early June. Also, I noticed some of the leaves on the tree in my garden turned brown in late July; three months ahead of schedule. The weird thing is, spring flowers - which normally grow around March/April - are now appearing in November/December. So yeah, I think something very strange is happening.

Nearly 300 dead due to flooding in India, Pakistan

SRINAGAR, India – Landslides and flash floods triggered by heavy monsoon rains have killed nearly 300 people in large swaths of northern India and Pakistan, officials said Sunday.

Five days of incessant rains in Indian-controlled Kashmir have left at least 120 people dead in the region's worst flooding in more than five decades, submerging hundreds of villages and triggering landslides, officials said. In neighboring Pakistan, more than 160 people have died and thousands of homes have collapsed, with an official saying the situation was becoming a "national emergency."
