We have a long recorded history and it always repeats itself. If your going to look to the current you must include its past.

1. The most extreme tornado in recorded history was the Tri-State Tornado, which roared through parts of Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana on March 18, 1925.

2. The 1881 Haiphong Typhoon was a typhoon that struck Haiphong, in what is now Vietnam, on 8 October 1881, and the northern part of the Philippines. Up to 300,000 people were killed by the typhoon, which was one of the deadliest cyclonic storms in history.

3. Worse wildfires ever.

4. Worse storms ever

5. The 1931 Central China floods or the Central China floods of 1931 were a series of floods that occurred in the Republic of China. The floods are generally considered among the deadliest natural disasters ever recorded.

6. Dead fish...to many to list here.

7. Sinkholes have been going on forever.

8. Our planet's magnetic field is in a constant state of change, say researchers who are beginning to understand how it behaves and why.

the thing is it doesn't take a large change of weather to shut down and ruin our already crumbling infrastructure. remember when the south was hit whit a snow storm and everything was shut down. thats occurring more and more.
s+f cool thread

It shows

Tornadoes
Severe typhoons
Wildfires
Storms
Floots

The YouTubes has been full of floot videos. I'm not sure what they are exactly but they sound potentially dangerous. I wonder if we will see more floots tonight during the super moon. Get your cameras ready!
Also, i have never seen a typhoon, but we these things called Hurricanes that are pretty nasty.
+1 for dead fish, I have been seeing a lot of dead raccons and possums on the road where i live...coincidence?

The Summer here didn't feel like summer.

The weather here in Ohio seems to be a little off as well.
Winter didn't want to end, and it seems like it's still
spring here. I think I can count on one hand how many days
it's been in the 90's. Not very much, that's for sure.
I've seen more days in the 70's than 90's.
My opinion is that the weather around the
world is off all together. It just seems
different. But what do I know, I'm just a country girl on a conspiracy site.
I'm no expert on weather but..... I trust my intuition.

I live in Ohio, too. And this last winter... Man, that was somethin'. I came from Michigan, and I still had never seen a winter that bad.

I love how you skeptics are always trying to claim this.

Relax there is nothing to worry.

Our planet's magnetic field is in a constant state of change, say researchers

LOL! Say researchers ah yes the same government researchers whom love covering things up for the government.

7. Sinkholes have been going on forever.

Sure it has being.

Are you going to suggest that this summer felt like a normal summer? because where it sure didn't. For the past two decades it did in some ways.

I found this video on YouTube about the weird weather phenomena around the world going on right now.

It shows

  1. Tornadoes
  2. Severe typhoons
  3. Wildfires
  4. Storms
  5. Floots
  6. Dead fish everywhere
  7. Sinkholes
  8. Earths magnetic field weakening

happening just everywhere and nobody can explain what is going on, especially that it is in the summer period

This is all just in one month.. July, 2014

Of course this severe weather is still going on. Southern Europe has to fight severe rainstorms and floots

It's the floots that get you - especially when you say it more than once...

It's funny how you skeptics list a few sporadic major events throughout our "recorded" history and claim these things "have been going on forever." Of course they have, but the point of what is happening now is the frequency. These things that have been going on forever are things that occurred once in a great while, say...every 10 years or so, but now occur somewhere every other day. Sinkholes are something that never even crossed my mind in my 43 years of existence until this past two years when a man was swallowed up in his bedroom never to be heard from again...a Missouri hunter falls to his death while hunting at night...A Chinese man walking down a street falls into a sinkhole on a sidewalk to die. That's three deaths in two years when prior to that, there are no "recorded" events of someone dying in a sinkhole. And what about the numerous structures collapsing into sinkholes, such as the Corvette Museum, the resort in Florida and the pizza restaurant and also a church, both in FL, and the numerous structures in China. Prior to these, I've never heard of buildings collapsing into sinkholes, and then the vehicles that are driving into collapsed roads. There are so many of these that all you need to do is Google it. One prominent one was the three cars that drove into a sinkhole in a Chicago street earlier this year. No...these things haven't been happening all the time...they are very new and you're thinking is way off if you believe you can fool a sensible person into believing that by spouting off there is nothing to worry about, folks, these things have always happened. Yes, they have...but not at this rate of frequency!

There are the floods in the video. That's July
And there the ones now. That's August

Or what exactly was the point of this genius comment?

better communication...more up-to-the-minute reporting of 'things' happening in Nature...

perhaps there's a quicker occurance of anomalies than in the past... but everything happening now had a prescedent in the past, & that's where odd natural attractions have become tourist destinations...

for example: the grand canyon was possibly a series of sinkholes which eventually eroded to the present 'canyon'

we are just being better informed with a WWW. or WiFi network of information

I just spoke to a lion on the Serengeti and he sees nothing strange. Last week I spoke to a llama in Peru and he sees nothing strange. Do you get the message yet? It's only humans that read more into the world that's there. Animals, including birds, take the world as it is and act accordingly. It's only humans that fear for their survival that worries over every little change or blip in the weather systems. Soon enough the earth will shuck off us humans and carry on rolling around the universe as if nothing happened. Get on with living your life instead of worrying about getting wet, freezing or being buried under a landslide.

You're supposed to be more intelligent than animals. That's why humans act when something seems strange or out of order. That's what separates us from them.

But I bet the Lion told you that already

That's all well and good for most secularists, but there are a lot of spiritually motivated people looking for signs in the heavens and on Earth for the return of the King. If those of us looking for those signs just become complacent, then we'll be swept over just like the dust of the earth.

I don't see anything wrong with making connections with ones own spiritual beliefs, if that's the way one chooses to live their life. It's neither wrong nor right, it is just our interpretation of how we "move forward".

That being said, I believe there are just as many secularists who want to keep apprised of world-changing events. Just because you believe everything is a natural process, doesn't mean it is so. Likewise to those of us who believe it is unnatural.

I'm seeing the world spinning on and doing what it has always done. It's only strange because it's happening in our life times. I'm not to worried. I'll adapt or die. That is the way of life.

Yes... the world is turning as always and it will have hills and valleys on any graph made from data one pulls from it.

But, avoiding any speculation from the woo side ... industrialization is new (well, who knows, but relatively new anyway) and we are changing the environment in unknown ways.

I'd be very surprised if there wasn't some truly novel/strange results from this unintentional (and intentional) tinkering.

There's also another channel on youtube that collects weather stories from around the world, monthly.
Take a look and look at the earlier videos if you want.
It's an interesting watch.
