It's not that simple.
The Palestinians in Gaza may have legitimate grievances regarding the tight security measures on their borders with Israel and Egypt, but those
measures were put in place as a result of decades of terrorist attacks in Israel, well before the missile attacks began several years ago.
The root cause of the conflict stems from the belief that Israel does not have a right to exist, and that doctrine has been instilled in the mindset
of every generation by a litany of fanatical regimes, and reinforced in the aftermath of several military conflicts.
Based on the current circumstances, if Israel was to lift the blockade and ease security measures on the Gaza border, it would be suicide, and the
Israeli government learned that lesson the hard way many times in the past.
The bottom line is, if the leadership of Gaza renounces violence and accepts the State Of Israel, the two sides will be able to work towards a two
