Justin Bieber Saves Man From Bear Attack

This goes out to all you Justin Bieber haters, he's really a good kid!

Justin Bieber soothed the savage beast.

A fisherman in Russia narrowly avoided death by brown bear when his cellphone rang and the pop punk’s music sounded — sending the beast fleeing into the forest.

Igor Vorozhbitsyn was heading to a fishing spot in northern Russia when the bear suddenly appeared and pounced on him, Central European News reported.

“I had parked my car and was walking towards the spot I’d marked out when there was a tremendous impact on my back and the bear was on top of me,” Vorozhbitsyn said.

The 42-year-old was saved when Bieber’s chart-topping song “Baby” started playing.

“I couldn’t believe my luck when the phone went off and he fled,” Vorozhbitsyn said. “I know that sort of ringtone isn’t to everyone’s taste, but my granddaughter loaded it onto my phone for a joke.”

Vorozhbitsyn called for help after the bear took off and was rescued by other fishermen.

I scrolled up after reading this expecting to see Dailymail. I was surprised.

When the bear sank his teeth into my chest and bit this button. "Eight forty. Forty eight ... "- said metallic voice my machine. Beast scared and ran away.

This was more of a joke, but it is a current event IMO so this is where I put it.

Trust me, this is not what I come to ATS for as I get most my news from here but I thought I would lighten the mood with all the other stuff I have been reading lately in the Middle East. I usually hate anything Bieber but found this to be comical.

it's simple, bears hate loud noise. just banging pot together and such will work. and how can you credit a singer for saving his life? likely any ring would have had the same effect. in short it was not the song, but the noise that saved the guy.
