Quite interesting indeed, now there has been much talk about FEMA camps over the years, I have not seen to much of it recently however it appears that this NBC crew accidentally stumbled upon something they were not supposed to. That being a supposedly empty prison, reportedly staffed with 76 employees, it begs the question what is up with the secrecy?

The demeanor of this Lt. Dorne was suspicious to say the least, also it is nice to have a legit news crew catch this kind of encounter! It is funny to see how surprised Mullholland was by this, clearly not a conspiracy theorist, well perhaps now he may be a little more open to it! I mean Dorne acted like he knew for a fact what this guy was doing and immediately began infringing upon his rights, almost like he had training to deal with people looking into FEMA camps! Weird!

What say you ATS, I realize that the whole FEMA camp conspiracy usually goes back to the infamous fear mongerer Jones, however one can not deny that something funny is going on. Also not sure about the source page here, however the news clip in and of itself is evidence enough, there is some info on the page, video below.

It is under tight security because they are shooting a film there.

From your source:

With prisoners vacated, the only people on the grounds were a movie crew and corrections staff. Why the super secrecy?

The part where the lieutenant said your up here for other reasons got me.

Just what is going on up there with so many corrections officers and no inmates?

Glad there is an actual video from a local news channel so the source won't get attacked and we can discuss just what the hell may be going on there.

So it takes 76 corrections employees to protect a movie being produced?
I call a heaping load of bs on that. a reply to: sheepslayer247

Right so there is a film crew there at the cottage, which is at a separate site from the prison. Why would there be this amount of corrections staff for a closed prison. Mullholland reports 76 of them. You believe this to be for the film crews security?

It does seem obsessive, but considering that prisons are usually quite large, cover a lot of area and there would be potentially millions of dollars worth of film equipment at the site......it doesn't seem too far fetched.

Or it could be that they are hiding a secret FEMA camp that locks-up all the people that talk bad about Obama.

What seems more likely?

That reporter handled that like a total boss. I hope this is his entry into investigative journalism.

LOL, A little excessive come now is that not downplaying the absurdity of it. I wonder who pays all of their salaries?

I do not know about the whole talk bad about Obama view, the FEMA camp began long before him, what does make sense to me is that when you are orchestrating civil unrest which TPTB seem to be doing, you need a place for the anti-government crowd to go.

I di not mention it being a fema camp. I dont like that term anywat. Think about it though, especially with the new executive order on quarantine, and ebola branching out. Eventually those eo's are going to get used.

In my opinion im more inclined to think its a immigrant homing facility or something to that effect.

Plus wouldn't a film crew hire a private security team to secure the gear rather the taxpayer funded corrections officers? reply to: sheepslayer247

The Saturday after this outrageous abuse occurred a private security firm took over patrol of the vacant building. Officials claim this is just part of the process and not related to the incident, according to the Saratogian.

So if it set up to handle people during civil unrest why would they allow a film to be shot there and then hand over security over to a private firm?

The big question is, who's employees? Were they all corrections staff or did that include the film crews?

The source did not specify.

I wonder what could fall under the umbrella of a private security firm? I appreciate your skepticism, it is a good counter to fear porn, however based on the demeanor of LT. Dorne, I would venture to say there is more going on than meets the eye. PR specialist are good at what they do and you can get away with just about anything with control of information.

Also you are correct there is not enough information on that site, I have not had a chance to dig around a little more, but I will, omw to work now look forward to picking up the conversation!

Can you expand on that?

however based on the demeanor of LT. Dorne

I've seen shopping mall security guards do the same as Dorne. Give a man a uniform and a little authority and he may act like as ass. Doesn't mean they are hiding anything nefarious in the mall.

since when does a film crew need so much security? or have an area blocked off with no filming allowed so vehemently? i have been around a lot of movie/TV show production, damned bastards always took over our street parking. i have never seen more than a few rent-a-cops around. they may close off small areas, for shooting purposes, but nothing like that type of security.

don't know about being a FEMA camp, but something is definitely hinky here. rather reminded me of the way they act at area 51 or something. i mean look how fast that guy came roaring down to stop them. that seems to say they are watching the outside of the prison, which really makes no sense at all especially if it is closed down. so why ANY concern about filming it? also rather hard to try to say they thought they were up to no good, professional recording equipment is rather noticeably different than what most people would have.

Nothing to do with a FEMA camp. DOC does not allow photography on their grounds in many locations, this is because of photos of stuff like famous people being incarcerated. These guys are just giving him a hard time because they are bored, and getting an opportunity to show off their authority. I've said it a thousand times here before, the worst “police” are guys like DOC, DOT, TSA, Customs, etc... because they have an ax to grin about showing that they have actual police powers. Notice that the officer has to give his rank? Typical DOC style behavior with the DOC employees I know IRL, and proves my point. You ever see a normal police officer respond to a request for his name with his “rank/last name” vs just his last name, or “officer/last name”? I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that this “officers” personal home phone, and cell phone, also say “You've reached 'Lieutenant' So-and-So”...

I have worked in films on state property [unoccupied prisons] and often there are cops there along with private security hired by the production company. But in the utube clip, something is being hidden by the cops.

It is illegal to film in and around prisons. That has been a long-standing law, because that is how escape attempts get planned. Now this place was just recently closed, but what are the plans for it? Will it will be reopened? Apparently it earned itself the nickname "Camp Walk Away" from the high number of breakouts. Guess that might be why the CO's are still edgy, even after it was just closed.

Who knows maybe they turned it into a blackops rendition site.
