You're going to have a hard time convincing a reasonable Westerner of anything with these videos. From where I'm sitting, that could just as easily be Russian separatists abducting a pro-Kiev Ukrainian.

Russia used them in both the Chechen and Georgian conflicts

...not to mention Tomahawks... The sponsors of chechen freedom fighters and Gruzia and syrian rebels and ISIS are the same... Nothing interesting here, just killing humans as usual.

The collapse of the rebels do to lack of support from the locals...

Something is wrong with your theory, the junta has problems...

Like these men with no insignias wearing masks...

And yes those are Russian green men in Crimea.

Or should I say terrorists as defined by you.

US Warns Russia: Further Intervention In Ukraine Will Be Seen As 'Invasion'

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The United States warned Russia on Friday that any further intervention in Ukraine, including under the pretense of delivering humanitarian aid, would be viewed as "an invasion of Ukraine."

U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power delivered the warning at a Security Council meeting focusing on the human rights situation in Ukraine's east, where government forces are fighting pro-Russian separatists. Recent reports by the West and the Kiev government have accused Moscow of dispatching what NATO estimates is 20,000 troops to the border.

Power said Russia has not only increased aid to the separatists but has amassed "more and more" troops and hardware near the border, began extensive military exercises this week and launched shells across the border into Ukraine.

She noted that Russia has proposed creating "humanitarian corridors" to deliver aid to the separatists.

"The humanitarian situation needs addressing, but not by those who have caused it," she said.

If Moscow wants to send aid to the separatists, she said, it should be delivered by neutral international aid organizations including the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"Therefore, any further unilateral intervention by Russia into Ukrainian territory, including one under the guise of providing humanitarian aid, would be completely unacceptable and deeply alarming, and it would be viewed as an invasion of Ukraine," Power warned.

Casualties in Crimea? 1 local, 1 ukrainian military man. Four months old picture:

A short memo to Arseniy Yatsenyuk, NATO, and the US government: Russia did not annex Crimea.

After the deposing of the duly elected government in Kiev, and its replacement by an EU/US/ECB-centric puppet government, the people of Crimea, in what was adjudged to be a free and fair referendum, authenticated by outside observers, chose to rejoin the Russian Federation.

Crimea had been attached to Russia throughout history, until Nikita Kruschev, and ethic Ukrainian by birth, annexed it in the mid-50s.

And in case, Prime Minster Yatsenyuk, you missed the memo, the Big Lie went out with the whoopie cushion and the dribble glass."

Yes - Russia invaded Ukraine, is illegally occupying Crimea and no amount of Russian BS will change that fact.

If a person is entrenched in a preconception, all the information in the world will not help him.

Yes We Can….turn a blind eye to whatever the f**k we want.

Obama on Iraq, Miliband on Gaza, Abbott on the MH17, and Samaras on the Greek surplus: in the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man turns a blind eye.

Meanwhile, a chimpanzee trappist monk the Australian PM Tony Abbott said at a memorial service yesterday that there would be “time to judge the guilty” when it comes to the shooting down of MH17. Truly, the thought of this idiot making a judgment call on where his backside is fills me with anxiety: the idea of him being able to unravel the four-dimensional spin machine that is Ukrainian geopolitics, however, is close to being an argument for never again letting the populace of a nation state decide anything.

and yet still Russia invaded Ukraine and is illegally occupying Crimea. Putins own presidential council on Crimea pretty much proved the vote was a sham. Not to mention illegal under international and Ukrainian law.

Another change Putin has made to independent thought and criticism of the government. Putin needs to go away before he goes Stalin.

Russia demands Internet users show ID to access public Wifi

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia further tightened its control of the Internet on Friday, requiring people using public Wifi hotspots provide identification, a policy that prompted anger from bloggers and confusion among telecom operators on how it would work.

The decree, signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on July 31 but published online on Friday, also requires companies to declare who is using their web networks. The legislation caught many in the industry by surprise and companies said it was not clear how it would be enforced.

A flurry of new laws regulating Russia's once freewheeling Internet has been condemned by President Vladimir Putin's critics as a crackdown on dissent, after the websites of two of his prominent foes were blocked this year.

Putin, who alarmed industry leaders in April by saying the Internet is "a CIA project", says the laws are needed to fight "extremism" and "terrorism."

Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov said that demanding ID from Internet users was normal. "Identification of users (via bank cards, cell phone numbers, etc.) with access to public Wifi is a worldwide practice," he tweeted.

A pro-Kremlin lawmaker said the measure was needed to prevent Cold War-style propaganda attacks against Russia.

The bold part.. Where have we heard that before?

The Press in the Third Reich

What excuses did the Nazi's use to justify media control?

During the first weeks of 1933, the Nazi regime deployed the radio, press, and newsreels to stoke fears of a pending “Communist uprising,” then channeled popular anxieties into political measures that eradicated civil liberties and democracy. SA (storm troopers) and members of the Nazi elite paramilitary formation, the SS, took to the streets to brutalize or arrest political opponents and incarcerate them in hastily established detention centers and concentration camps. Nazi thugs broke into opposing political party offices, destroying printing presses and newspapers.

The Propaganda Ministry aimed further to control the content of news and editorial pages through directives distributed in daily conferences in Berlin and transmitted via the Party propaganda offices to regional or local papers. Detailed guidelines stated what stories could or could not be reported and how to report the news. Journalists or editors who failed to follow these instructions could be fired or, if believed to be acting with intent to harm Germany, sent to a concentration camp. Rather than suppressing news, the Nazi propaganda apparatus instead sought to tightly control its flow and interpretation and to deny access to alternative sources of news.

You are figuring out something here, congratulations!

Countdown before the war started ... This is not a random "drift" but a clear intent.

We see a propaganda war of the NATO and EU against Russia (before the real war, as was in the 30's against Germany).

Putin is responsible for everything. Yes, he is the responsible in his country. Is he guilty in defending himself against fifth column?

Putin, who alarmed industry leaders in April by saying the Internet is "a CIA project", says the laws are needed to fight "extremism" and "terrorism."

I agree.

The context for any serious discussion on foreign affairs must start with the admission that the New World Order is the dominant controller of political power, especially in western countries. The NeoCon/NeoLib cabal dictates worldwide compliance. Nations conform to the financial supremacy of banksters, administered by handpicked political stooges. Global governance is the end game destined for all states. Individual nations slated for extinction are doomed as long as the NWO advances their worldwide imperium.

Putin provided a vision that conflicted with the cabal. Eurasian Project a Threat to New World Order provides an alternative to the West.

Someone is deliberately capitalizing on people's misunderstanding of the word "BALLISTIC"

I think most people heard that word and think nuclear warhead missile, from the well known ICBM, or "Inter-continental, ballistic missile"

"Ballistic" means the missile has no guidance, it's trajectory is determined by gravity and wind. It is like a rock, it goes where you throw it, so the launch angle, thrust and engine run-time have to be calculated precisely.

Ukraine aren't using ICBM's with MIRV's or anything here.

Thanks for detailed explanation. Lethal radius of this short range and "precise" tactical ballistic missile with conventional warhead is 200m (656 feet).

Prove where the ammo came from. Did Ukraine use it? As has been posted and proven the Donetsk terrorists have been looting and killing civilians on purpose.
