That's probably because the percentage of Muslims that are extremists is much higher than most (all?) other groups. I've heard #'s as high as 25%...

Well if there are are 450 Million Extremists then we are all doomed.

Agreed.

But even if it is "only" 5% or 10%, that is still a huge amount of people willing to shoot you or cut off your head in the name of their religion. Just look at how fast ISIS/ISL/whatever has spread recently.

And you mention nothing of the three kidnapped boys in your recap? They were innocents too, no? And that's what kicked this all off. You really only care about blood when it comes from one side. And by the way, that whole Hamas wasn't involved in the kidnapping of the boys is now a joke. Haven't seen anyone posting that up here.

If you research that, you'll find that it wasn't Hamas, it was a lone terror cell or splinter group. That kidnapping wasn't sanctioned by Hamas leadership.

But, again, I'm not condoning anything Hamas does, I realize they aren't good guys but we need to get to the bottom of things and the truth.

So do those three deaths, justify in anyway, the targeting of children by Israel? No.

Editing to add, that we really don't know everything, so let me play devils advocate and ask what if it was Hamas leadership that ordered those three teenagers kidnapped and killed. Again, does that justify the targeting of children and unarmed civilians? No. Does it justify the targeting of UN shelters? NO.

Then ask yourself why there was ever Hamas and how they recruit so many and why there was a PLO and how they were able to recruit so many?

The root cause is Israel and their oppression of a people the they feel they are better than.

Hossam Kawasmeh, arrested on July 11, admitted to leading cell which abducted and murdered Gil-Ad Schaer, Eyal Yifrach, and Naftali Frenkel; He received funds from Hamas.

Israel wasn't hitting Gaza because of the kidnapping/murder of the teens, it was because of the constant barrage of rockets into Israel from Gaza... That's the way it has been for years - Israel pretty much leaves Gaza alone unless they launch rockets. If you notice, rockets are not being launched from the West Bank, and as a result, Israel doesn't conduct air strikes there...

Funny how you fail to mention that Gaza is a giant prison that Israel runs. No way in or out with out Israeli permission, Israel decides how much food and medicine and Israel controls the water. Israel denies the people in Gaza basic human rights and you wonder why some of them fight back against an oppressive occupying country. What would you do in the same situation? Do you really think that targeting children is a correct response to terrorism?

This is what the Palestinians have to live with every day:

And i will leave this profound thought. Take some time to understand and meditate in the following:

"The state of Israel must invent dangers, and to do this it must adopt the methods of provocation and revenge... And above all, let us hope for a new war with the Arab countries so that we may finally get rid of our troubles and acquire our space." -- From the diary of Moshe Sharett, Israeli's first Foreign Minister from 1948-1956, and Prime Minister from 1954-1956.

Don't know if this is true or a Mossad tactic to get Palestinians to attack Hamas for them.

It also a Mossad "tactic" to have Rabbis come out against Israle. The idea is not to show to much solidarity. Got to give the impression that there is no consensus on the Palestinian question. LOL

ISIS are a Western sponsored and trained extremist group. They are not Muslims... What ever they think they are doing has nothing to do with Islam. If Al-Baghdadi has any credentials concerning Islam (And he does) he should be getting ready for hell which he probably already knows is coming, that's all I'll say on the matter.

I have a question for you.. Is the Sea of Galilee starting to run dry? Just curious..

Funny how you totally ignore the Rafah Border Crossing to Egypt - why do you ignore that crossing?

- as it shows your claims are just made up stories!

Even Egypt does not want the Hamas terrorists entering their country.

ISIS originated as an al-Qaeda offshoot in Iraq. Composed of fundamentalist Sunni Muslims, - See more at: www.economist.com...

Wonder if there would be a market for handguns with silencers in Gaza.

Then the people of Gaza could thin out a few Hamas members and leaders in the dark of the night since the power plant in Gaza sounds like it will be down for a while.

Haha.. not quite. They blame both. Hamas didn't help anything, but Israel was out to kill civilians. I mean, Israel's stated goal was to blow up "terror tunnels," but they certainly bombed 400 children and hundreds of other civilians.

It was known before the conflict began, or ended that Hamas was losing support v.s. the former leadership of Palestinians (who Israel was no fan of - and helped create Hamas to hate).

You do know that there is a waiting list of more than 15,000 people waiting to use that crossing and it's usually only for medical supplies and medical reasons that you get in and out of there.

Then Israel would start bombing civilians they suspect of having the weapons with silencers.

Israel supporters don't like to talk about the West Bank where Israelis are the terrorists and there aren't any Palestinian rocket attacks.

Well, that has nothing to do with Israel, just Egypt not wanting Hamas terrorists in their land.

Lol.

Only a person who knows nothing about Islam would cite a source like that and then proceed to think it's actually funny... Just step away from this issue because your intelligence on this subject is lacking dramatically.

Al-Qaeda were another group who were originally funded and armed by the West (Who are the enemy of Islam when it comes down to it). As I said before, making alliances with the enemy is against the teachings of Islam. Under NO circumstances is a Muslim to seek help or form alliances with the enemy otherwise you become the enemy of Islam yourself.. In other words, ISIS can call themselves the greatest Muslims on the planet but the Qu'ran still says "Your traitors and you are not Islamic".

So how about you and your 4 star friends go and find all these Jihadi groups and see which ones have take money and weapons from the West. How about you go check all the Islamic nations who have pacts and alliances with the West. You will find that most of them are a disgrace to Islam.

Or at the very least educate yourself about Islamic teachings.. lol.. I bet your one of those Christians that doesn't do Christian things, aren't you? If so I can see your logic.

Do you know why Israelis have all the military power and the Palestinians have no guns? Because they (Israelis) were the ones who robbed their lands (Palestinians land), letting only 22% (at this time with the no-go zone it must be at 18%) of their initial homeland.

Make no mistake, they are heading for what is left! Bombing or suffocating the Palestinians with the blockade or both.

Aw, it was a real Care Bear. I was hoping for some reworked thing that had the bear pull out a machine gun and blast them both....then eat the replacement popscicle. Problem solved.
Just kidding, of course.
