I've given it a try. The only way I like them is raw with balsamic vinegar. Cooking them brings out that sulfurous flavor.

Try them shredded raw in salads or as part of a stir fry, I love BS, They are also nice sauteed with a little butter and cream and a sprinkling of carraway seeds.

And a little splash of lemon at the end works wonders!

That is my favorite way to fix them... not the healthiest, but definitely the most decadent!!

I start off with butter (olive oil works also) in a skillet, brown the split and cleaned brussels with some garlic and a dash of kosher salt. Once they are browned to your liking, add cream, cover and reduce heat to a bare simmer for a few minutes. Add a splash of lemon and serve...

yummm!!
