Why does time seem to speed up as we grow older?

That's very deep, and very true I suspect. I wish I knew how to slow down, but I am getting close to that age when most people have their retirement figured out and I am nowhere near that. I just started a new career 8 years ago, and at my age I watch people my age taking early outs all the time. I wish I could do that, I could find things to keep me busy all day no problem.

just hold out for another 25 years or so, we will have finally gotten ahold of reversing the brain, at which point we could create biological copys of our brains and live as immortals.
explore the galaxy and such, there is just so much more than this planet to be old and bored, look toward the future.

The older you get the more you learn the value of your time and the more you realise its value the more you notice it disappearing .
