New leaker disclosing U.S. secrets, government concludes

Proof of the newest leak comes from national security documents that formed the basis of a news story published Tuesday by the Intercept, the news site launched by Glenn Greenwald, who also published Snowden's leaks.
NSA leaker Edward Snowden asks to extend Russia asylum
The Intercept article focuses on the growth in U.S. government databases of known or suspected terrorist names during the Obama administration.

The article cites documents prepared by the National Counterterrorism Center dated August 2013, which is after Snowden flew to Russia to avoid U.S. criminal charges.
Greenwald has suggested there was another leaker. In July, he said on Twitter "it seems clear at this point" that there was another. Government officials have been investigating to find out who.
The biggest database, called the Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment, now has 1 million names, a U.S. official confirmed to CNN.

Say that when you try to fly somewhere or keep getting pulled over for off the wall reasons. The war on terror is a colossal failure for the American people and a huge money maker for a very elite few.

So far so good and I am on no special watch list that I know of, however I still have an issue with the IRS/Ex-employer that needs to be resolved. That is for another thread....

This is interesting. I can only hope this 'new' leaker has some dirt that will help make the world a better place. The last things this world needs is more war.

Someone able to buy a flashlight from a major media outlet and use it on a large scale might be a legitimate threat.
Wikileak article only viewed by a small "interested pool" of readers not a problem, easy to monitor.

and last season when i got back from working in Alaska the FBI came and paid me a visit for no reason.. asking me strange questions about my religion . they asked if i could look at pictures of other "American converts " to see if recognized them . before i agrees i asked "why exactly are you here " their reply was " your named trickled down ,and we were asked to come speak with you " the conversation was very non directional . questions ranging from "what were you doing in Alaska " to "has anyone ever tried to recruit you to go to syria " . it was really strange ..then come to find out months later the FBI went questioning my extended family and neighbors before they ever came and questioned me .. scary # !

i have never been really been in trouble with the law i am a good standing citizen and don't subscribe to extremism. i told them these exact words. and the reply i got from them was scary .. the one agent simply wrote a number on a green index card and said "call me some time lets go out for coffie" as he patted me on the back.. that freaked me out so i went to the local masjid (mosque ) and i spoke with the imam their (teacher ) they directed me to an attorney who represented me for free because i was Muslim . anyway long story short she told me that the FBI was most likely profiling me and putting me into a category. she also told me that most often she defends muslims who have not been charged with "terrorism" but rather most of her cases are defense against lying to a federal agent . she said it seems like they have mobs of FBI agents purposefully trying to get Muslims to lie to them so that can be charged.

they can lie to you but you can't lie to them ..apparently ...

anyway i am rambling on ,but i am certain i am on some black like somewhere ..and it's scary !

I can assure you the United States government would never add me to the list because it would be assassin, I mean assinine. Further, why would a sovereign country waste good anti terror money on the likes of me. Besides, I'm only just learning the meaning of atomic clocks, so I couldn't possibly be a target of Obomba.

That is classic!

It is true they use an Echelon like algorithm to target 'terrorists' and 'drug dealers' based on words they write. This is also true for child porn searches, I actually know of someone who was flagged on an adult based dating web site after unknowingly writing what seemed like benign email. After emailing the webmaster and an actual person reading the email to determined the content he was cleared and re-instated on the site.

It is scary to think that so much action can be taken against an innocent person based only on an algorithm that searches for key words.

I'm guessing quadruple digits

You start out as '0000' and accumulate points every time you use a key word, or text another high number, or log on conspiracy sites, or phone europe or the middle east, or criticize the government or break the law or travel to a hotspot etc etc.

That number is connected to your phone or computer.

So when you get on a plane, for example, with your CHARGED cell phone or laptop, you are scanned and your four digit TQ code comes up.

Scanners can be anywhere. In government buildings, public events, patrol vehicles, hospitals or simply lamp posts.

If your phone records or computer records indicate you communicate with someone with a high TQ, your own TQ goes up.

If your GPS position coincides with someone with a high TQ, your own TQ goes up.

We all have our own TQ, like a golf handicap.

Board a train or plane or enter a government building with a high TQ and a red flag goes up.

In a crisis, even medium high TQs can set off an alarm or in a manhunt for instance, a medium TQ might be enough to draw attention.

Just a theory of mine, but I think the technology exists and it makes more sense than a simple 'On' or 'Off' the list.

If thats how it works then soon everyones score will eventually reach the FLAGGED point, when that happens they're back to square one because we'll all be the same again

Yeah but we all wont reach critical scores AT THE SAME TIME....thus providing many years of work for the antiterror squads....kind of like sheep farming I guess....

On reflection I'd like to modify my suggestion that we all have four digit TQ rating's .

There is no need to limit it to four digits.

I only touched on a few factors that can add to a TQ score.

There can be hundreds, maybe thousands of other relevant statistics.

Digital dossiers, automatically tabulated and constantly updated.

This score must already exist for those who have made it to 'THE LIST' as there must be a prioritizing system.

The 'Pack of Cards' wanted lists created for the war in Iraq are an example of that.
