In "response" to the House resolution yesterday to sue Obama for over-stepping his authority, the White House has let the cat out of the bag so to speak.

The big rip is they say Obama will not hesitate to make a unilateral amnesty order !!

WOW.

As they say -- 'sock-it-to-em'.

A couple of other "issues" were addressed also;

White House senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer responded to the House vote to sue President Obama for abusing his executive authority by announcing another executive order.

Pfeiffer also promised that Obama would take unilateral action on immigration.

“The President is not going to back away from his efforts to use his authority to solve problems and help American families,” Pfeiffer wrote following Wednesday’s vote. “In fact, tomorrow, President Obama will announce his next executive action to crack down on federal contractors who put workers’ safety and hard-earned pay at risk. It’s just the next in a series of steps this Administration will be taking this year to make sure that American workers are getting a fair deal, and he has pledged to take executive action to deal with our broken immigration system in the months ahead.”

Boehner and the rest of the gop failed to lead by legislation to respond to what they have called a invasion on our border. They are off to fund raise instead of taking care of business.

Well what can they actually do ?

Sending bills to Harry Reid and not getting a butchering is the same odds as getting a hole-in-one.

John Boehner had a plan to address the border crisis: The House would pass an extremely right-wing bill, then it would leave town and blame the Senate for failing to pass its bill. This is Boehner's plan for addressing every crisis, basically. But then the thing that always happens to Boehner's plans happened again today.

Ted Cruz met with the core group of House Republicans who vote against every bill and explained to them that since this is a bill, they should vote against it. Then Boehner had no idea whether his bill could pass. Then he went to the House floor. Then he pulled it. Reportedly, Republicans weren't even close to having enough votes to pass it.

In light of legislative gridlock not reaching a viable solution
to our porous south-- and the real and present danger of that
condition also allowing by inaction maybe a weaponized
pandemic into the country... this guy wants to blow the gate
anyway. There's a really good chance this toilet's out of control
right now .. and all that's left are the statisticians hollering.

Dick Morris was saying he wouldn't be surprised if Obama resigned.
I have mixed feelings... he might have already fulfilled his destiny.
On the other hand, there's nothing like a benevolent dictator
overseeing the poisoned dirt and piles of bled-out dead. The latter
scenario may be irresistible to a man of his psyche and conscience.

Prepare to kiss it goodbye, Amerika. The communists have
played you off against each other at your most basic instinctual
levels... charity toward "the kids" and self preservation. Looks
like Divide and Cronkite wins..."And that's the way it is."
We've all been played like Clapton borrows a Strat.

EDIT:: PS... And the Congress is going on recess tomorrow for a month,
Franklin. Coincidence, Mr. President?

It sounds like a brilliant diversion doesn't it.

The House will get nothing from the Senate ever.

Now the Democrats are feeling euphoric.

In the meantime of course, The Administration continues with the Plan.

The Obama Administration has effectively check-mated the 2008 law...

William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008

And now Obama will "act" by order and dig his own hole even deeper.

It's brilliant.

It might have something to do with the constituents don`t want a border bill or amnesty, they just want the law on the books enforced.

Best thing ever for this country would be to move that pen

How can Congress do anything with Obama's water boy Eric Holder running DOJ? Holder won't do a damn thing. The impeachment card may be the only option. Or GOP-backed military coup.

Does anyone know if the House can hold impeachment proceedings leading to removal without a Senate trial?

The House can impeach with a simple majority vote.

The Senate must conduct the trial and a 2/3 majority is required to "convict" and "remove".

67 sends 'em to Heaven.

Okay, that's what I thought.

The Senate will never convict him, unless this November gives the Senate a GOP majority, but they'd still have to sway a bunch of dems.

I remember way back when the current potus supporters bashed the last guy over the head with the 'Go it alone attitude'.

Now they are all FOR IT!

The year of action eh ?

The gift that keeps giving.

'There's been a tendency by this administration to hide behind EP every time there is something 'shaky' going on.'

The current potus!

Your really want to blame the Senate when Johnny said he refused to vote on anything immigration like a month ago??

Um.

Yes.

Why do you think he said that anyway?
